Hi guys, I have a 2000 BMW 318Ci ( AUTO) that vibrates quite a bit when I put it into Gear/ Drive while stopped. In Neutral its super smooth no vibration, but as soon as I put it into drive, with my foot on the brake, then it vibrates. As soon as it starts moving, its all good and there is no vibration whatsoever. Does this sound like the transmission mounts? I thought it was engine mounts, until I watched this video. Any info / feedback would be greatly appreciated 👍
hey bro sorry for the late reply it can be that you should definitely try changing them, but it may also be your differential bushing once it goes out the back well vibrate because there's no rubber left on the bushing & another problem can be is the Guibo that's its probably on its way out but this one well vibrate when driving
I dont like the factory style rubber mounts they move way to much .... i Highly recommend polyurethane mounts much les movement and Better shifting feel especially if you have manual

I'll tell you what, changing the mounts on the manual gearbox looks an absolute breeze compared to the auto...

@@ivandeaquino9537 no, the car was on a lift and the mechanic assured me the mounts are all fine.

thats true man i have them on the control arms and there still brand new polyurethane well last longer
