Squiddles will attack after 1.5 seconds when a light source (excluding the Blacklight) is pointed at it, or after 3 seconds if you are close to it. 3:34 There are no underwater creatures. Any entity underwater (except for Eyefestation, which appears outside of windows) also appears on dry land, and underwater sections even prevent the good people from spawning. 3:51 There technically is a Hide, but it's more of a game mechanic than an entity. Last time I checked, it's called "cleithrophobia" (although I may be wrong). It forces you out of hiding spots after a while and stops you from re-entering for some time, and deals no damage. It cannot occur in the first 5 rooms, and gets more intense as the game progresses. The gas that Chainsmoker exhales speeds up the process drastically. 4:23 It isn't following you; it's just that there are dozens of instances of Squiddles scattered across the Blacksite. 5:10 Since it appeared so late, it was likely what is referred to as a "timer spawn" on the Pressure wiki, and it spawns a node entity (Angler, Pinkie, Froger, Chainsmoker, Blitz or Pandemonium) after you have spent a long time in a room. 8:20 I'm not sure what happened because the majority of the submarine and Room 1 was skipped, but the items you buy from the dead-drop shop are in an outlined crate near the crouching section. 12:08 Eyefestation's pull isn't that strong. very many of the ambient noises are red herrings, doors opening, loud and continuous noises, combined with the ACTUAL key noises you have to listen to makes the game very hard and fun

To be honest i feel like this video was the most refreshing Pressure gameplay i've seen, they knew what to do with the creatures that were the same in doors, they read everything, used the revealing more eachtime you die system to their advantage, this video was genuanly good and very refreshing.
It's like just how you would play it. The reliability makes it interesting. You prob wouldn't be like "WHAT IS THAT RED THING! OMG I'M GOING A MINIGAME. WHAT KILLED ME? *document visible*"
I gotta agree with this, my experience with pressure was way more intense and difficult because of the bigger variety of enemies that are way more threatening, the difficulty becomes very apparent at that last part after getting the crystal where you literally have to stay on your toes and keep your guard up for the whole way through if you want to win
I wouldn’t say hard, it requires more attention. Angler and its variants (bar pinkie) just require you to see that the lights flicker and use a locker when you hear their approach. Eyefestation and void puddles are just nuisances rather than threats. Wall Dwellers are the only real threat.
PRESSURE expert here. I loved watching this lol, reminds me of my first playthrough. There is a LOT to this game-- from hidden difficulties to monsters to really good lore. I can't recommend you play it more enough! If you need someone to guide you through your first Crystal, just hit me up.
@@remo-k9h Blacklight doesnt regenerate that fast, and loses its juice really quickly, i recommend the flash beacon when you are in The Ridge or in a dark room, you know your surroundings.

So weird seeing someone who doesn't play pressure play pressure for the first time. I recognize all the ambience as ambience and drown it out for angler sounds and I literally walk right through squiddies. Seeing you so terrified is hilarious and i hope you get further in, there's many more dangers to face, bigger more detailed rooms to see, anf much to explore! I also have a no flashlight run on my channel i did (as if that'll help lol). But i hope you have lots of fun! A note- You can hide in siderooms without needing to get into lockers. That way you can just keep going withour having a mini panic attack.
my theory is that the high level of detail and variety in the environments takes up so much excess brainpower that you end up a lot more prone to making mistakes lol

I feel you, as a doors expert, well, I haven’t done hotel hell or not 5 stars yet, but I have made it to door 100 multiple times. It took me a hot minute to adapt, especially to pandemonium. After a bit tho, I got used to it, and already have 2 wins, and almost had a third win while trying to get the we die in the dark badge. If you don’t know what that badge is, it’s the badge that you get for never picking up a light source your whole run. It was very difficult, but I got through it all the way to the last room before searchlights final encounter, then died because of a mix of being overcautious and not paying attention. (I was right next to a void puddle locker, knowing angler was coming, and I didn’t realize it was a void puddle so I died to void puddle)
There is also an entity called the Wall Dweller and it basically comes up to you from behind and instantly kills you. I know they’re annoying to encounter but all you have to do is turn around if you hear footsteps and they’ll walk away on their own ( Just a tip pls don’t get mad )
fun fact im postive in only spawns in teams not solos i've never seen it in solo a secret is that if a angler comes by it kills it if you double back u can eat its body for a shield!

tip there is many of the anglers a good way 2 tell is to jump in the locker and see if you're heart beats quickly then its thw slow one that takes its sweet sweet time if it dont another way to tell is by seeing the colour when they pass if its green thats forgger its rush but rebounds only once everytime so jumpin wait get out repeat
This is just blatantly wrong, if it’s emitting green smoke, it’s chainsmoker (which is way slower than the other anglers so don’t hide right away), and Froger is the one that acts like ambush from doors, that being their the only angler type to be able to rebound. Pinkie acts just like angler except it won’t flicker the lights and you can hear her screech way before she rushes through the room.

For a doors expert you sure do loot drawers very quickly and hopping into lockers 5 bussiness days earlier before anything arrives is surely a sign you are so skilled
Given you're a DOORS expert, as you say, I take it that you're (hopefully) aware of Rooms by nicorocks5555 In the case that you are, I heavily recommend playing "Rooms & Doors" by CJ4. It is one of the more early, yet detailed, Rooms fangames and it is very good. All the way from New entities to variants of said entities and entities from the Doors version of Rooms as a bonus, it is genuinely amazing. It even has recently got an ending at A-1000 (which, despite being based on Doors, is about a HUNDRED times better yet a hundred times harder too)
here's a tip: lower the sound of the game (in the recording software if possible) so your voice can be heard better trust me I've made this mistake before nvm I just read the description

I love how, at first, you think it will be Door with hot fish man and easier, but in reality, it’s probably harder than Doors, with entities that are completely on their own and not like Doors. This game is insane man.
Puddles of void-mass reminder tip: If you see purple eyes in a locker, don't go into it *unless you want it's badge* You'll only die to them in single player, if you're playing with a friend, they'll help you get out of the locker before void-mass can fully kill you.

Eyefestastion reminder tip: This one is VERY simple, like from eyes from doors, just... Ya know. Don't look into eyefestastion's eye's...if you keep moving while picking up the stuff you need without looking at them, you should be fine.
As a pressure player it’s funny to watch him fail but hints that easily CNA be counted the first thing that damaged you is squiddle it hates lights flashing it
Squiddle reminder tip: Don't get close to it, or flash a light or look at it for too long, or else you'll lose a tiny bit of HP, or if your fully low on HP you'll die, and you'll get there document.
The squid like creatures are Squiddles, they hate light but the blacklight, just don't touch them or shine your light at them, the red light signals that all Squiddles are gone
As another doors expert who played this yesterday my very first deaths were to chainsmoker cause my ass couldn't wait long enough before getting into a locker -- resulting in me being kicked out cause of hiding too long and dying 😭

*unless you want it's badge*
You'll only die to them in single player, if you're playing with a friend, they'll help you get out of the locker before void-mass can fully kill you.

Eyefestastion reminder tip: This one is VERY simple, like from eyes from doors, just... Ya know. Don't look into eyefestastion's eye's...if you keep moving while picking up the stuff you need without looking at them, you should be fine.
As a pressure player it’s funny to watch him fail but hints that easily CNA be counted the first thing that damaged you is squiddle it hates lights flashing it
Squiddle reminder tip: Don't get close to it, or flash a light or look at it for too long, or else you'll lose a tiny bit of HP, or if your fully low on HP you'll die, and you'll get there document.

The squid like creatures are Squiddles, they hate light but the blacklight, just don't touch them or shine your light at them, the red light signals that all Squiddles are gone

As another doors expert who played this yesterday my very first deaths were to chainsmoker cause my ass couldn't wait long enough before getting into a locker -- resulting in me being kicked out cause of hiding too long and dying 😭
