  • UP's "marsh job" switching various industries in Milwaukee's Harbor View neighborhood. This area has lots of interesting trackage including street running, a switchback, and track buried in mud leading into a scrap yard.

What a great video. I’m about to model a small scrap yard, and here is my prototype! Thanks! Great stuff. Love that mud!😊👍👍

Nice. Caught them switching the scrap place in September 2010 with an MP15 and an SW1500, and they had the C&NW caboose that's now been based in Sheboygan for several years.

Very nicely done. I worked only a few blocks away but sadly they went to work after I was. There are so many great angles in the small area you can't go wrong

You've got to wonder if the ties really even exist anymore on track buried in this muck. The rails are probably only held in gauge by the soil.

I've been to the scrap yard around the Milwaukee WI. I didn't have enough time to see it when I was up visiting

Missouri Pacific must have bought thousands. It's the type used most often at this yard along with the the longer Railgon GONX
