Yeah man! Most chord books only show us open chords because those are most used. It's kinda like Walmart. You won't find anything special down there, only the stuff that people buy ALL THE TIME. Pros use 2 note, 3 note, 4 note, 5 note and 6 note chords! That is why they are able to get all these variations in sound! Thanks for watching pal!
Not necessarily. I use my thumb a lot because it is long and I have a lot of reach with it. I have some students who get very little use out of theirs and others that can do a lot with the thumb. If your thumb works for you, use it, if not, just use the other fingers to get it done. Each person's hand is different, so things that work for some might not work for others. Thanks for watching!
Hi! My student let me borrow this one for this tutorial and I want it too! He won't let me have it, so I guess we both with have to shop for one! Lesson on this coming next! Thanks for watching!

I never noticed before how much that sounds like "brown sugar" by the Stones!
Good ear! Same type of chords just arranged differently! More on this soon!
😊
You make 3 strings sound so good! I'm always trying to use all 6 in chords and it's very limiting. Is this what the pros do?

you use your thumb a lot, is this something I should start practicing?
