  • Oil and gas pipelines have been built since the late 1800s and are one of America’s most ubiquitous forms of infrastructure. However, in recent years, a coalition of land rights activists, tribes, and environmental groups have made pipelines a target of protest and litigation.
In this video, featuring University of Minnesota environmental law professor Alexandra Klass and Bloomberg Law’s Ellen M. Gilmer, we look at the series of high profile legal setbacks that has some in the industry asking-is it still possible to build pipelines in America?

Good overview…but can someone explain how there are pipelines that carry natural gas across state lines but for permitting purposes are not “interstate”?

there was a whole sequence in there will be blood just about the pipeline(and murdering the imposter) but still about the pipeline and its construction(and further impact)

Climate change with CO2 causing impact on environment is mostly caused by jet travel the CO2 and Nitrous Oxide exhausted at 30,000 ft take 100 to 200 years get ground level where plants can use it. As this warms up the upper jet streams that affect our weather patterns is accumulative.

Do you know that all of the contract that were made with the American Indians is protected by the Constitution of the United States of America. The Indians must use the Constitution of the United of America to protect their properties and rights from the de facto government. See The Constitution of the United States of America: Article VI, ... "all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States shall be supreme Law of the Land and the judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution"

The thing is is that the united states breaks "treaties" all the time making your argument nonsensical.
