K so how do you open it? It's already in a folder titled MTS_Dmitr(etc) so why would I need another folder? All you have to do it select Mod Conflict Detector (application) and it should open. I also wanted to point out the folder bit for anyone having trouble getting it open.
I'm not getting any blue to indicate that I have a mod conflict, or red for broken CC, but my game is still acting funny. I can open in, and press the playbutton, and travel worlds, but when I click on a household to play it, it goes to the plumbob loading screen, and then does not stop loading. I have to click alt + esc to exit and then restart my whole laptop to get it to exit the game. Then maybe I thought that it wasn't my CC that was the problem. So I took all my CC out, but then it worked; so it had to be my CC, but no problems are problems are being detected by the Conflict Detector. I'm sorry for bombarding you with my problem, but I simply don't know what to do.
If you have a lot of CC and your laptop does not hold a lot of storage, then the CC will slow down your game greatly. If there is nothing indicating that something is wrong with your CC then I suggest maybe cleaning out your mods folder.
@Menue ive found the answer to this problem, due to the update of this app you have to turn on the color highlighting option manually. once you've downloaded the mod conflict detector go to settings and make sure you have advanced options on. scroll down and you should see a list of the colors and their meaning where even if you want you could change them! hope this helps.
Yeah i had the same problem a few years ago and nobody knew the answer to it. It was very frustrating but the only thing that fixes it is taking all of your cc out and then putting them in one by one and checking if the game does funny stuff again (but it think you already fixed it)

Literally most of my CC says “not analyzed” its yas they’re under some x86 origin file whereas the ones that are ready are in mods? But they’re all in mods so I’m confused
When I click on ‘scan’, it always says file loading error, just like it did in your program, but when it doesn’t even show the conflicts. It just says ‘not analyzed’.

Hi, THX for the Video. You say to remove first all MOD conflicts then to rescan... Well a conflict is allways between 2 (or more Files). So if you remove 1 File its possible that a secound file showed as confilct is allready fixed... cause FileA conflicted with FileB. So a rescan of the Folder each time you remove something is pretty necessary i think. Or am i wrong?
You have a good point, and you can do it that way just as well, but I have noticed that even if you do remove file A, file B could still pose a problem. But thank you for your comment~
benedicta serebour that was probably the most frustrating thing about using this. It never directly tells you which mods conflict with which, so I just assumed that whatever was highlighting as the conflicting mods, it was just conflicting with everything else.
Someone please help me :( i can't play my game! The most recent patch ruined my game! I played earlier this morning completely fine with all of my cc, no lag or anything I was living the dream!😭 I come home and turn it on and it says that while I was gone it updated my stomach dropped bc I knew this would happen. It now takes forever to load and by the time I click on my family and it's on the loading screen to them the screen starts slowing down and or freezes and the music will start skipping and then is says windows or something stopped working😭 so i did the mod detector and i took out all the red broken mods and my game still crashed. I have some blue do I HAVE to take it out? I also have some peachish orange color that says "needs unpacking" and I do not know what that means💔 I just wish they woulf stop updating to the new patch with out my permission😠Could it be something in my Tray? I've never has this problem on my mac but now I use a Dell? Maybe I don't have much space on my computer?
Princesa Mira I am so sorry this happened to you hun. A number of things could’ve caused your game to crash, broken mods can be one of them. In Origin you do have the option to turn off automatic updates so that you can update to the patch when you are ready. I would say uninstall both the sims and origin from your computer and start over? That’s more than likely the only option at this point.
my game runs perfectly but when i click on the build and buy, the icon for me to pick the furniture is missing. it’s just blank space there idk what’s causing it help :(
Mirah you don’t necessarily have to redownload them UNLESS you get a last exception about one of those mods, then I would consider either removing one or looking into an updated version.
kieyana ellis then you don’t have any broken cc or conflicts, but you may have some script mods that are broken, I would check into updates for those if you have any
Hi, here step by step... 1. Dowload - MCD_2.2.300.0 & Languages 22 (.zip) Files (For Xp - ModConflictDetector9063.zip) 2. Unzip the Downloads each into a seperate Folder. 3. Drop this 2 Folders Into one you Name like you want (Example - Sims4 Conflict Detector) 4. Place the Folder were you want it to be... (In this example its the Desktop) 5. Delete in the "MTS_DmitryMalfatto_1710308_Languages22" folder all Language you dont need (keep "lang.en-US.xaml" for English) 6. Launch the "ModConflictDetector.exe" in the "MTS_DmitryMalfatto_1752758_MCD_2.2.300.0" folder hope that helps... ;)

I have the same problem! some stuff does show as blue and i did delete some but the game still doesnt load unless I remove the mod folder.

Unfortunately it will not scan script mods, only package files (custom content).

Do you have only script mods in your game? It will not scan for script mods, which is why you’re seeing “Not Analyzed”.

How do you enable your files back?
When I clicked scan is says the same thing on the side but nothing lit up
It doesn't have to go on your dekstop, it can go pretty much anywhere except in your mods folder

I’m not sure, but if you have sims4studio you can just run a batch fix on your cc.

It means you need to run the program as admin so it have admin permission to do such actions to protected folders/files.
I clicked on the mod, then deteled all the content inside the folder and then delete it.

Theori Coleman the red means you have broken cc, the grey means either it’s fine or it’s a script mod, but it doesn’t work for script mods

Brie I would suggest trying to repair your game. In Origin, right click on The Sims 4 icon and choose the repair option.
So i gotta redownload the mod again? The mods with conflicts? Bc i rlly want em to work

What does the light green color mean, "Stray File, Unable to check"?
It means that the file is something other than a .package or .ts4script file.
