@@dabinowaifu8970 i think that the white hair is more interesting based on what it implies. the mom's side has white hair while the dad's side has red. for most of them i would assume that their powers line up with their hair color. that would be why shoto has half white and half red hair. I think that what this means for touya is that his body is more like his mom's which would be why he would be hurt by his fire quirk more severely though i do not know how much more severely.
if i remember correctly it was an animation error. with a manga it can be difficult to tell a color by it's shading. the author made a chapter (291) recently that makes his hair color correct for both the manga and anime. hope it helps.
