@@brianghostfury it's a choice from the mirror of night called "Stubborn Defiance", which lets you get one extra chance every new room, returning you to what I believe is 30% hp after taking damage that would normally kill you. To unlock it you need to upgrade the mirror to its full potential, and then nyx will let you see "the other side of the mirror", one option being this. It's very useful for higher heat runs since this heal isn't affected by any diminished healing chosen in the pact of punishment. I hope this helps you!
@@brianghostfury the optimal combination you want is the standard merciful end build, where you use Ares attack combined with Athena Special and dash as well as the duo between the two. Unfortunately, that didn't happen this run, but you can still deal a good amount of damage without the duo boon, especially when supplemented by Poseidon's dash
@@brianghostfury it's really your own call as to what you prefer. I personally enjoy the shield, which is seen as more of a high heat weapon, but the Safety of the bow's range cannot be understated, neither the damage the rail aspects can provide!
