    Hi I just want to tell you how incredible your knitting is. You make such amazing stitches with knitting needles frankly I had no clew how to name or look for them. So cool you teach them and I think I can follow. Finally, I found someone that teaches them. Thank you. This channel is a Great Resource.

    Wow!!! I don’t blame you for using a crochet hook! I’d end up losing the stitches just trying to use the needle to pick them up!
    Outstanding works I Love your tutorials it the only channel I use to learn knitting again,

    Is there a way to get this printed? Also, could you make a baby blanket from this stitch? I’m a new knitter and I may not be thinking correctly but could you make some rows of 3 and then fasten/stitch them together? Kind of like doing squares and putting those together?

      At the bottom of the video where you see SHOW MORE. In any event, here it is:
      //// Instructions:
      Multiple of 12 + 2 for borders
      k=knit
      p=purl
      (pyo,ps,pyo) purl the yarn over after next stitch, purl the next stitch and
      purl the yarn over again then take the 2 stitches out of left needle.
      Repeat from * to *
      Row 1.- k1 *k12,* end with k1
      Row 2.- k1, *k2, p8, k2,* end with k1
      Row 3.- k1, *k2, yo, p8, yo, k2,* end with k1
      Row 4.- k1, *k2, p1, k8, p1, k2,* end with k1
      Row 5.- k1, *k3, yo, k8, yo, k3,* end with k1
      Row 6.- k1, *k2, p12, k2,* end with k1
      Row 7.- k1, *k4, yo, k8 together through back of stitches, yo, k4,* end with k1
      Row 8.- k1, *k2, p3, (pyo,ps,pyo), p2, k2,* end with k1
      Repeat these 8 rows.
      Bind off after last row, knitwise.

    Hello again, I have been working on this and when I do the yarn overs I’m getting more than 14 stitches per section. Is that correct? In row 5 how many stitches are you supposed to have?

    • @JoannesWeb
      @JoannesWeb  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try making only 1 repetition, so you see where you're making an extra yarn over.

  • @helgaeriksen3306

    I am a continental knitter I am confused with the yarn over, please help me love the pattern.

    • @JoannesWeb
      @JoannesWeb  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. What you want to do is bring the yarn to the front, as if tu purl, and go around your right needle until the yarn is in the front again.

    • @ciannacoleman5125
      @ciannacoleman5125 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve seen a few continentals yarn over in the opposite direction, I don’t think it would effect the pattern but you could try it

    Because of the YO, every time I foul up I can’t fix it and have to start from scratch.

    • @JoannesWeb
      @JoannesWeb  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's good to use a lifeline. I always do with intricate stitches. Try it.

    • @kyststudio-epicartadventure
      @kyststudio-epicartadventure 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      A lifeline will be useful once I get ten or more rows.

    Yikes! I feel sorry for any “puritans” why might refuse to use a hook. Personally I enjoy mixing the arts so I totally agree on using the hook! 😂
