Thank you for the best teaching video's on my new Brother NQ3700D. I just purchased this new machine recently and am learning a little bit as I go. Your video's are excellent, and you don't go so fast that I can't take notes and I can re-watch and again take notes on things that I want to try. I am learning about the embroidery features on the embroidery area of the machine. I am still learning about how to choose the colors as they change. I am going to go into my settings and check what my machine is set at. I think I will try the name of color option as I believe you said this is the Brother color names, from 6D, which I still have. I am slowly converting my VP3 designs to PES. Hope this won't cause any problems with my machine. Thanks again....
Thank you so much, you have been a God send to me! I had updated my software for my 3700D brothers machine, it would not recognize any design after that. I followed you thru and found the reset button, all is well. Again thank you!
I am watching for a friend, she just bought this machine! I Am so excited for her and can't wait to see her first project. Even though I don't have this brand the video is very interesting and informative. I will be watching the May video. Thanks!
I bought this very machine back in Dec of 21, so far I love it, been sewing for years but never embroidery. My 55 year old New Home stopped so I decided to try embroidery. How is a person to realize which setting is for embroidery and which is for sewing, that was confusing. Thank you, I plan to watch all your tutorials. The best I have watched since I purchased my machine.
Thank you for the video, it helped me to better understand my new NQ3700D that I just purchased a month ago. Also, can you please help me with downloading and updating my machine? I am a first time embroider so I am trying to learn as much as I can from others.
Glad you enjoyed the video! It's very easy. They will also be in the back of your manual.
It should be on the embroidery screen towards the bottom. It looks like a flower with a dotted line around it. You set the distance in the settings pages.
I am sorry I am going to trouble u again my NV880e still chews thin fabrics even tho I use tear away stabiliser and 90 wt thread now the needle bad has started to vibrate, I have hardly used this machine I am actually fed up it cost me £1600 yet I haven’t made anything with it please help thanks 🙏🏼
Hi Dee! Sounds like if your needle is vibrating, your machine is about to lock up. It probably has some thread stuck somewhere or possible the bobbin case is not in correctly. Have you tried finding a dealer that does repairs near you? If the machine is quite new, it's probably still under warranty.
@@sewalongwithjan thanks for replying much appreciated, it vibrates and the needles break too, the size of my bobbin is SA156 is this the right one that I am using? Yeah I think it’s under warranty
@@iluvindia01 Yes, they are the right bobbins. Try to take it to a repair center and get it looked at. Take your receipt with you to prove when the machine was purchased.

You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video.
I own a Destiny and a Solaris but found it interesting to see you go through all of the settings. Thank you for the video.
Glad you enjoyed the video! We will go through the Luminaire/Solaris too, as there are more settings on those machines.

Can you rotate the embroidery designs sideways on this machine?
Yes you can. The rotate is on the editing page, not in settings
How do you input thread color changes on patterns with preexisting colors in the machine?
For example-the second color on the chart is vermillion; how do you change it on the color chart to see/ say purple for example?
On the edit screen (after you bring up a design) there is a symbol that looks like a color box and spool of thread. You can change the colors there
I have a dream maker 2200
I cannot find the basting setting
