The Smashing Pumpkins is my life long favourite band and this is one of my most treasured songs iv'e listened to probably in excess of 1000 times and know every nuance of this song and your pretty damn close to perfect.... Rock on dude!!! i'm loving it.
it would be awesome if you did a cover of "hummer" by the pumpkins. such a creative and unique drum track and an unbelievable underrated TSP song. i think you could tear it up.
Some other pumpkins tracks with interesting drums (at least to me) to consider covering- Everlasting Gaze, Rainbows and Sunshowers, Bodies, Tarantula, and anything else off Siamese Dream.

Not a drummer (guitar player) so can’t speak to it on that level, but there’s something in that 3:50 - 3:55 fill that while maybe not looking all that special really sounded like the apex of the drumming in this song. It puts a climactic punch on the entire thing.
This was amazing! I love to play along to this track in my head when I drum occasionally (pleased to see i’m not too far off it!). Well executed and the expression in your face whilst playing, shows you’re really feeling it - that to me as a drummer, is as important to technical ability and feel, it’s showmanship
Came back to re-watch and still enjoyed it. Couple of suggestions. First, you faded out at the end as you seemed to be having a serious smile of accomplishment. With that performance, you earned it - I would liked to have seen the happiness. :) Second, a couple of the complicated bass pedal moments had the front camera view instead of the over the shoulder which would have highlighted you nailing those. Seriously though, good job.
Like the paradiddles. Nice job. My only complaint would be that the splash cymbal over the floor tom doesn't seem to be getting picked up by any of the mics. But that's a recording issue, not a technique issue. Technique's awesome. Very well done.
Solid drumming on all your Pumpkins covers. I know it's difficult to do what Jimmy does. Let's see more. I challenge you to do 3 more Pumpkins songs. "An Ode To No One", "The Everlasting Gaze", and "Cash Car Star.
