I just love the way the coach Nicole does her thing. And now that shes more hands on with them u can see the vision. I saw it with last season. Not saying the other coaches weren't great since im just now starting to watch CUC videos from previous seasons. Right now I'm going through season 8.
Overall this video was very refreshing. Things that needed to be covered, were, and things that needed to be accomplished were accomplished. Apart from that one young lady, i believe her name is Kennedy (I'm sorry if i spelled her name incorrectly?), what we saw as practice for the team was really great.

Y’all saying the coach don’t correct her own daughter as if they don’t go home together after every practice. She’s 9/10 correcting HER CHILD at home and the same people mad about her not doing it in front of everyone were the same ones that were mad when they did those evaluations on camera last season… what do yall want like seriously? Such wishy washy comments

I see the progress. and I love the coach. the BHS did get cleaner from doing those drills but you have to drill every day. I just want to see progressive stunt drills on every single element too because that part is still pretty sketchy. For stunts, safety should be the #1 priority, and the only way to do safe stunts that look clean and easy is to adhere to proper technique.

If you have a child that does cheer, why would you let them get long braids. I get telling the girls that but that’s definitely a bad choice from the parents. You were aware that they shouldn’t have that style yet you still let them get it.
The bases need more strength
i feel like it would be really good to do some trust building exercises with the team. The girls seem to not trust their stunt groups even those they’ve been on the team with for a long time. It could fix that nervousness and fear about falling out the stunt. I also think that it should definitely be heavier consequences because some of the falls are from basic points of the stunt not even the hardest parts. I used to nearly dive for a flyer so they wouldn’t hit the ground by any means (especially if it meant getting out of some conditioning😂) and yes sometimes it’s unpredictable but i feel like it’s more rewarded when the effort to try and get to them happens. A flyer can only fall in so many directions so after a while it should become instinctual ESPECIALLY FOR THE SMALLER FLYERS or if the stunt is falling in somewhat slow motion which some of them definitely have fallen that way to where it’s hard to understand how you couldn’t catch them before they reached the ground.
My only thing is that just because those girls are older, doesn't mean you have to tell them to be a leader. Best thing is to speak with the older girls and ask them if they are interested in being a leader for the team. Because it can at times make them annoyed that they have an unwanted responsibility by you a coach just saying they need to be a leader. Ask them first, if they've agreed, then thats great, if they have not, thats okay just the same. Because lets be honest, not all of the older girls will make good and consistent leaders; even the eldest on the team (I'm not sure who is the eldest) may not have good leadership qualities y'know?

Sitting them down isn't going to change anything. Letting someone work with them one on one helps . Everybody isn't coaching material 🤷🏾♂️

@@April-tm7uv oooh I see. Timone smiles when she's being complimented and if she's goofing off or having fun with the girls. Jamie though, from what I've been seeing since last season, she doesn't really smile especially with her teeth showing. I'm guessing that it's just how she naturally is. Like obviously she will find things fun/happy/funny so she'll smile/laugh but yeah. For them, like the other girls, being told to smile on spot or demanded to smile on spot won't make them do it genuinely.

Coach Nicole has the perfect attitude .. this team has been through many coaches with many of different attitudes and Coach Nicole seems to have the perfect attitude that it takes to get through to these girls and to make them champs! She does correct her daughter but not every time she should.. Im sure they have private conversations at home but I do agree she needs to correct her more often.. All the girls get away with some things so I do think Coach Nicole is always fair being her daughter is on the team!
