- Hey nerdy nuggets, it's Sam! I've been so proud to see more affordable fragrance free sunscreens in India popping up from new brands. Two of the most high quality and affordable Indian sunscreens on the Indian skincare market today are the Deconstruct Lightweight Gel sunscreen SPF 50 and the Minimalist SPF 50 Multivitamin Sunscreen. Here are my reviews and comparison of the two and my recommendations for whcih one is right for you.

The need of 100ml sunscreens are so true😭
Well then you can try keyaseth umbrella sunscreen it's come in too much variation of SPF.. It has SPF 25 30 40 50 60 and 75..PA +++ suitable for all skin type.. It has 100ml quantity.. Leaves no white Caste.. It's super budget Friendly..But It has one problem 😅 It's not broad spectrum sunscreen..

Safe... But do some research about that
I've used 5-6 bottle of littlllextra rice berry sunscreen, face serum, and moisturizer and I can say that it has helped me transform my skin into a beautiful, radiant state. The blemishes are diminishing and I am not seeing any new spots occurring now. The face looks glowing and smooth. So, I've realized that selecting the right products is necessary.

I have been using deconstruct one and it's really good. My brother too liked it. It has no white cast, non greasy and absorbs well. Plus it is 55+++ spf. I don't know for how long it lasts though.
How's the consistency bro now? Quality is same or changed?
How to remove that sunscreen? Face wash is enough?
I prefer deconstruct one because using minimalist I just swat a lot (ps my skin is Oil jar) and please make more videos on yt [note: not forcing whenever you have time :)) ] you explain things like very step by step with a proper introductions (thats very helpful) and love you a lot!!

I started to get sweat on my face too after applying minimalist which i have never seen with any other sunscreen or anything but deconstruct is so good it is suitable for Indian climate

When using the minimalist sunscreen my face keep sweating. Even if the wipes can't resist the sweat😐

I have oily skin and I'm currently using minimalist . But it suit my skin very well. It does not make my skin oily. But everyone saying deconstruct is good so I'm confused. Bcz minimalist actually suit my skin very well. What should I do🤔🤔🤔

I don’t like the minimalist sunscreen because as you said it pills and kinda also leaves a white cast on my face when I apply it generously. Now I just use it on my body rather than face to complete whatever is left of it. I would seriously recommend you trying the conscious chemist sunscreens both variants! They have a gel like consistency and go on the face super smoothly. Aqualogica sunscreens are also pretty good! I have yet to try the deconstruct one though.

@@haniyakhan9147If you have oily and specially acne prone skin.. Please try those sunscreen which specifically made for acne prone skin.. It's cost you much but your skin will feel relived.. Don't use this minimalist or deconstruct.. In you tube you can find many sunscreen for acne prone skin

Can u tell which is more matte between Reequil Ultra Matte Dry Touch vs Deconstruct sunscreen bcz Reequil one is very expensive so how does Deconstruct fairs ??

I have been using the reequil ultra matte sunscreen for past 6 months and also tried deconstruct sunscreen and i could say deconstruct is better as it doesn’t has silicone, fragrance and doesn’t clog pores.

Use wishcare body sunscreen
i have tried spf 60 from minimalist, while it blends well and provides good protection, the thought of repurchasing it gives me an ick beacuse it leaves an oily shine, a grey cast and also makes my face look super dull, all this has seriously discouraged me from trying the spf 50 sunscreen, anyway, could you please tell me how the deconstruct one works in that regard? i have an oily skin type fyi
also, have you tried the new dr. sheth's sunscreens? they are affordable and people really seem to be liking them, oh, the aqualogica ones too?
Hi Swati! I've heard many similar reviews about the SPF 60 from minimalist. Their SPF 50 is very different though. The deconstruct is more gel-like than the minimalist one :)
Yea Dr.sheth and Aqualogica, both are good.. I'm using Sheth and my husband is using Aqualogica.. Sheth one has a cooling effect that last for few hours..

I am still afraid to use sunscreens with organic filters...my mind just cant ignore the probable possibilities of hormone disruption 😭..can anyone help..can you provide some research to calm my doubts?
Hey! Understandable. There's so much fear mongering about organic filters. Lab muffin beauty science has a video on sunscreen myths that talks about this. Hope it helps you!
Old gen uv filters like Oxybenzone is proven to be found in blood, urine, breast milk, OMC is also said to be harmful for DNA, Octocrylene can breakdown & cause free radicals, oxidative stress, DNA damage, Avobenzone is a eye irritant & highly unstable as per the research so I try to avoid these especially Oxybenzone bcz they are linked to cause fertility issues in men also but unfortunately one of these is definitely in every Sunscreen which I like, physical Sunscreen are either tinted or not cosmetically elegant to apply, Reequil claims there sunscreen doesn't penetrate that's why I use them, they are elegant also in comparison to other but one contain OMC & another Octocrylene, idk they are encapsulated that's the only reason I think why they claim it to be low penetrating, Deconstruct uses SUNCAT which is a encapsulated blend of old gen UV filters which make them stable, low penetrating, Minimalist one is absolutely worst, gives sweaty milk once it wears off also very heavy greasy for oily skin, contains Retinol for no reason, zabardasti k actives har product mein inke 😂
@@gaurav_12 thank you so much..your comment was so informative. I use minimalist spf 60 as they claim it to be pregnency safe and non penetrating I suppose. But its heavy for Summers.. although I find it okayish for winters. More recommendations are welcome 💝
@@user-sy3gm1pe6x Minimalist SPF 60 is definitely safe & low penetrating bcz it got new gen stable uv filters with good safety profile however both Sunscreens are heavy greasy, they don't even work in winters for me, if u want with new filters only like Minimalist SPF 60 then Foxtale Mattifying Sunscreen got that & it's lightweight, Vaunt Hybrid Sunscreen is also with new filters.

I used Deconstruct Gel Sunscreen and I got skin allergy on my face and chin. After checking over the internet, I realized that cause of allergic reaction is probably because of Benzophenine 3 or Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane used in the product. I have stopped using the product and hopefully the allergy will disappear with time. Consult a Dermatologist before using these OTC products.
Absolutely! Checking with a doctor to see what your skin may be sensitive to is a wise way to start your skincare routine. Great advice!

Is this non comedogenic?
Deconstruct sunscreen takes a while and a lot of hare rubbing to blend so as to do away with the white cast. It seriously hurts my skin with so much rubbing. Also, it makes me swear, esp. my nose and eyebrows.

Out of these two, I would prefer the deconstruct sunscreen. But my favorite sunscreen has recently become the earth rhythm one!

@@sam.nottooshabby I love the earth rhythm hybrid fluid! It gets a bad rap, and for good reason, on the Indian skincare subreddit, because they kept changing their formulation, and decided to put glitter in their sunscreen at one point??? But now that they seem to have settled down into a consistent formula, I love how bright and dewy it makes my skin look. Great for winters. It kinda looks like a bit of an oil slick for 5 minutes, but it settles into a pretty skin like finish. Which earth rhythm sunscreen have you been using - the hybrid fluid or the pure mineral one? I just want someone to share my enthusiasm for the hybrid sun fluid 😭

Hi!! You don't really need to time your sunscreen application.. Just aim for around 3 times a day when there's sunlight ❤
