That’s actually a classic abuse tactic. It’s the cycle minus the lovebombing. You have the star power and you get people who want to impress you, and you repeatedly beat them down until they’re gunning for your praise and love whatever scraps they get. Miranda’s a pretty horrible boss when you come down to it. 😂 good at her job, but impersonal as hell.
Now I need to look up Belgian flax cotton, because flax and cotton are two different plants so my theory is they're woven together? I could see that being a good combo actually. Linen is great at wicking away sweat, which is why was the main fabric for ancient underwear, and cotton is really breathable and great for hotter climates. Sorry for the rambling lol, I spin yarn and love fashion history

Oh my god I never would have thought of this character as a good ASMR roleplay but it’s perfect. Streep is so genius for the way she decided to make Miranda a quiet speaker - if anyone isn’t aware of this movie fact, everyone expected to her to be loud and yelling but she came in with this quiet voice because she noticed one of the most powerful people she had come across spoke softly and it forced everyone around them to be quiet in order to listen and was more effective than yelling.
I literally watched this movie for the first time a few days ago and the way she has so many Miranda lines is iconic. Also when she said the Belgian flax cotton is different from “regular poor people cotton” I died 😂

I wish there was more ASMR where you get this vibe of the character being mean to other people but not you the viewer. Perhaps beginning dismissive of you as well to a certain extent, sure, but putting more and more positive attention on you over the course of the video, even if they always keep a certain intensity. I think this video is the best example I can think of, and I really enjoy it.
The devil wears Prada indeed. And she walks and talks like she owns the building and everyone in it (she probably does). I love how she just disregards everything and starts dictating commands at people. Miranda is important and she knows it.
Holy crap the final segment of adjustments and measuring deserves to be a future videos of just that. What a masterpiece of ASMR - the tone changes and timing of it mixed with this character is just so soothing. I think with a bit of added closer whispers (measuring around ear at later stages) would make for another great video. Great work keep it up!
