This is what make him different from all of celebrities in the world, he doesn’t need us to love him like a lover nor does he see us as people he have to give love to, well ofc we love him and he loves us but that only stays in celebrity and fans. He expected us to be his fans with himself, the real himself so that’s the happiness for him right there from his fans. We love him because of who he is as a person, not celebrity 💕

The poor mc is not the person who prepares the questions! He is only told to ask them and perform. He is just a simple man doing his job. In most of the interviews with idols I noticed many questions are either dull, repetitive or shallow. But I feel bad for the these MCs though! They are not idols with stardom to behave however they want they're only supposed to smile always at their guests!
@@narsis273 ahh, I meant for whoever prepared the questions cause it's mostly, as you said, is dull and repetitive and was mostly closed questions. But I do feel idols with stardom doesn't mean they can behave however they want. Yibo here is answering as he does genuinely and is not declining any questions or making fun of MC or anyone either, just he doesn't know how to lie or sugarcoat his replies. He does take time to answer if the question is specific or if about his interests.

But it had no difference for him. He also knows his fans like the way he is. The CEO of the game maker must regret this promotion activity. He doesn’t need to be pretentious, also not everyone can or should do idle chatter if they don’t want to. I know it comes across as different or cold during fan meetings/interviews but why should idols be fake for us.
You can see how he chatters with people he’s found comfort level with. I wouldn’t want him to feel forced to act differently when he doesn’t want to. Honesty is so refreshing nowadays. He is what he is and I love him for it.

Really love how UNIQ yibo is^^ never please anybody.he'll do what he wants and say what he likes^^
So many of these questions are just the usual "say something nice about this place/game/etc/food" which is usually promotional and not sincere personal answers. Im sure they expected certain responses from him already because it would have been the autoresponse from most celebrities. But for WYB, he just treats them as legitimate questions and he does just answer the questions the way he normally would. They should know that Yibo doesnt naturally promote things unprompted unless he really wants to. Also he doesnt even promote HIMSELF lol. He literally lets his actions/works/talents speak for himself.
After 2 questions, the MC should have already picked up his one-word answer style and adjusted his style of questioning/conversing after that (like asking more specific follow up questions or rewording in order to prompt the interviewee to explain etc). It seems they were just going through a scripted list of generic questions and that was it, no actual conversation in between to keep it going.
That game part was so hilarious though, saying it wasn't that much fun xD
i totally agree about the generic questions part. the mc did try to respond in a way to try to get yibo to open up with follow up questions but then he'd start asking simple questions again and was met with one-word answers over and over LOL at least the mc tried, but he's just no match for yibo 😂😂

One of my favorite savage moments of his, was when an interviewer asked him if they could also call him puppy(like Xiao Zahn does). And he responded with a quick "no you may not" with a blank stare. I nearly died laughing! Never change Yibo, never change.
