Hallstatt Austria and Surroundings | Daytrip from Vienna

Here are some highlights from my visit to Hallstatt in Austria. Hallstatt is a beautiful, small village on the edge of a large lake, and surrounded by magnificent mountains.
I spent a day exploring the Austria's Salzkammergut region while on holidays in Vienna. This is where Hallstatt and other small, quaint villages like it can be found. They are often found overlooking stunning lakes and are surrounded by magnificent Austrian mountains.
