Sounds like classic air leak! My 024 run like that 026 after i put the Hyway piston in and as you know they don't take a carb gasket but i put one in anyway then gutted the muffler and it now runs perfect no loading up thing!

By carb gasket do you mean an intake gasket, like between hte carb and the boot? I have done that before and actually allot of the 024 026 and 028's I have worked on the intake gasket has been added by one of the precious owners.

I realize everyone has their own different and specific way of running and starting certain equipment, but dealing with the complaints from people like that definitely gets nerve wracking.

It can be, I try my best to never accuse the customer of flooding the saw or not knowing what they are doing lol, but sometimes you just gotta say strait up what the deal is. Jake has been a really good customer though and we hung out for an entire day and he was pretty cool so we let it slide wink winnk
