thank you, this was very helpful! i had an outside spigot installed and now IT is the highpressure one.... sort of annoying because previously the one by the pond was the firehouse and that made water changes faster.
Thanks for the video; it was very helpful in understanding how my water pressure works. Recently, I’ve noticed an increase in water pressure throughout the house. Should I be concerned? If so, can you recommend steps to address this issue without calling a plumber?
After going through several hoses bursting, I put a pressure reducing valve on the actual spigot and it seems to be helping some. Now I have to figure out why my side of the house spigot is stuck and will not turn.
Actually, I MIGHT have an answer for you. I have that problem with my outside faucets; I have one on each side of my house, and one has ridiculous pressure. This is why: th-cam.com/video/LyXhZHfICLI/w-d-xo.html
I have the opposite problem and cant seem to fix it. my whole house gets good water pressure but the spigot on my main line is super low and I have no clue on how to fix it
If it's your main line, depending on where you live, it could be that (1) the pressure coming from the city is low, or (2) the main shut off valve, which might be located in the ground near the street, is turned too low/tightened too much. In some areas, it's a fineable offense to mess with the shut-off valve near the street, so check before messing with it.
You are a Godsend!!

Insanely helpful, thank you!!
It is convenient having one high-pressure spigot outside for spraying house wash a couple of times a year.
Could be the answer to my problem. Thanks!
I have good pressure outside but low inside... it's barely a drizzle in the shower
Cool videos!

Great explanation. Now can we figure out why my downstairs shower had more pressure than my upstairs shower lol

Be very careful to not bump that plastic water supply coming out of the basement wall.
