I'm pretty sure they were carried over from the mods they replaced. Madison county is weird in how they've set up their sirens. For example, on EKU's campus, they installed the brand new ASC Claritys to replace the campus 2904s. However, instead of using the standard ASC electronic sounds, they just used a recording of a T-128. My guess is that they didn't want to confuse anyone with the campus and main county sirens since they're now T-128s.
