  • This interview with Brad Blanton was filmed during his workshop on Radical Honesty at the Alexandros centre (part of the Kalikalos holistic network) on Mount Pelion, Greece, in August 2018.
The beautiful videography was expertly captured by film-maker Naama Noach. And the fabulous footage was skilfully edited by my daughter, Rose.
I've admired Brad Blanton and been strongly influenced by his best-selling book Radical Honesty for many years, so it felt like a great honour to spend this time with him.
Thank you so much for your sharing here, Brad.
Thank you Naama for so generously filming our conversation.
Thank you Rose for your brilliance as my editor and i-movie tutor.
Thank you to the lovely friends, who were out of shot, but were sitting right there with us, listening to the interview.
And thank you to magical Alexandros for being the space that brought all of this together.

Hi Laura! oh so welcome.. I love doing these interviews & Brad has been an inspiration to me for a long time. I'm also massively grateful to Naama, who filmed us... it wouldn't have been anywhere near so beautiful (or audible) without her expertise. xx

I try to process my thoughts as I watch this video,
I mostly feel happy and I just pray...
that the past doesn't get in the way of my happiness...
and that all my stresses don't overwhelm me...
    and... there's a person I want...
I want them to want me, just as I am.
    I pray for true love.

I am not sure how this works in a relationship? Given that this stuff being perceived as bullshit, is bullshit, why not just acknowledge it within, what is the benefit of sharing that bullshit with others. Would not the simple acknowledgement of this bullshit by the perceiver be enough? I get that the perceptions are distorted and maybe there is some benefit in clearing up misunderstandings etc,. But Isn't this potentially just selfish?
