The director Bilal Lashari produces scenes similar to those in Super Graphics vieo games on the PS4/XBOX like The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid series or Assasins Creed etc. His games inspired cinematography direction style is reflected in whatever he directs, like in the movie Waar too. Such feeling is also evident while watching the Maula Jutt trailer. The guy is super talented.
It had copyright issues with the producer of the original Maula Jatt movie that's why initially there was a delay in releasing it on Eid 2019 but finally when that was resolved it was due to release on Eid 2020 then Coronavirus happened which has further delayed it. My guess is it will not release until the whole world has recovered from this Covid-19 pandemic.

I know you guys are from this generation, but there was another Muaula Jatt old Molvi with Sultan Rahi and Mustafa Qurashi. That was the movie that had the genuinely legendary dialogue delivery which can not be performed in this particular era, where a real Punjabi Pind is not shown. Therefore, it loses the true taste of PUNJAB. Thus, I would just say that find an old one and just listen to the dialogues of Sultan Rahi and Mustafa Qurashi, which genuinely reflect the Punjabi Culture.
