This is a very good video to review how to take the head apart. All ready knew how to do it, I finally decided it wasn't worth it. But every time I got out of my car in the garage the Vespa called to me in a somewhat operatic voice saying change my battery you lazy American. To day I could take it no more and I went on and did it, it took me an hour and 45 minutes but now the clockworks and the little voice in my head one away.
