I put this on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. It is so hard to comprehend that Angelina from 7 to 16 is the greatest story telling being in my 74 years of experiencing great vocalist and I can't wait for the rest of the story.
I believe that Angelina had Sarah Vaughan's version as a template. Sarah definitely overdid it with the vibratos. For this reason, I think Angelina is much better. One of the worst versions I have ever heard is the Bublé version Michael Bublé - My Funny Valentine Official Audio] The composition doesn't fit the song at all and it sounds like he's on his way to execution.

Tony's use of the metaphor of two people in ice dancing or figure skating in perfect harmony with each other and the music, is a brilliant image of Angelina's enormous musicality. The way she processes each and every note gives the text extra life, color, and power. Text and music merge in perfect harmony. Angelina's aesthetic expression is almost painfully beautiful and belongs to eternity.
Your expression like that of the proudest mother, ever. We all fell like aunts, uncles, parents and grandparents to Angelina, don’t we? All because we’ve been able to watch her progress from a young child, to this. Since Angelina’s only just turned 16, she is, of course, nowhere near finished her growth as an artist.
