Thank you, I wanted to understand the breakdown of pay, and Taraji’s speech helped, so that’s like working a regular 9-5 paycheck to paycheck, you can win an award to help get more opportunities but not a lot of money just a display for production to shine, got it.

Great Title! Isn't hollywood filled with compassionate democrats who only want the best for everyone? Hypocrisy is always disappointing and one hopes for accountability.

Black people are not paying black people what they are worth either .Taraji should have watch Oprah s video because she told you that nobody is gonna save you and you either accept or you don't so Oprah could be upset that Taraji accepted the pay and still talked about the pay that she accepted during the promotion of the movie ..

The term "Uncle Sam" is a metaphor for The US government.

Our "Uncle Sam" is The Man, the Government, the entity that takes money, and takes and takes some more, then a lil bit more, then says they need yet a tiny bit more and then FINALLY........
      it starts all over again.
Not that I've ever made that type of $$$.. but I always had that concept. The more you make, the more you MUST spend. It's sad, it's disgusting, and makes you truly THINK and take a few double takes. Whether it be high, low, or just scrapin' by... it's crazy how much more we all have in common vs not.
