Lee i save it multiple times under different names and make the changes in thinkscript. That way i don’t have to go in and change it all the time. But awesome man
Great presentation! Thanks for sharing! I'm new to coding on TOS, last time I did any coding was to input DOS commands just to boot the PC. Lol! I've been trying to create a filter (price greater than Market Cap/Common Equity Ratio - Current) but not having any luck. I can't even find anything on this subject, yet it exists. My apologies for asking a non-related question on this thread but like I said, if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all! Thank you!
I can not find it as 1-9, would you mind to tell me how to find it? seems when this webcast move to CS, lot of the useful info are been hiding some what, I hope this is not the case. PLEASE advose the steps, or you can just reply with me the 7 digit code, so I can copy it into tos's tools box to add. thanks
Lee, I have typed your code in exactly as you have shown, however, I get these errors: No such variable : avg at 8:31, No such variable: avg at 8:48. I've tried numerous times to retype, checked for errors, however, I still get the same error codes. I have also tried the "Open Shared Item" tool with no success. I get an error saying the URL is broken. Can you provide any help? Thank you.
Update: I submitted the code to my AI software and it corrected the "avg" code to be spelled out to "Average". When I did this, the code worked as intended. Great lesson and this scan looks very helpful.
Is the length of the moving average interpreted as the number of bars on whatever the timeframe of the chart that you are using is? Or conversly, for example, would it truly be days if you were on a 1 minute chart?
they might not work right away if you have the TDAmeritrade thinkorswim. The links are for the Schwab version. Also, you open them through the "Open Shared Item" tool Hope this helps

The link that you've posted for the Pullback Scan is broken. Could you please update the link? Thank you.
Try opening the link in the "open Shared Item" tool. Just clicking on the link won't work.

Thanks for watching!
This was a great video that will help me with pullbacks!
Glad it was helpful!
Links still not working. Throws a 404 page not found error. Please post good TDA links!
For me as well
Will work if you have Schwab thinkorswim but you have to open the link in thinkorswim with the "Open shared item" link, not click on it
@@tradertalkswebcasts Thank you

The moving averages are # of periods, so in theory yes, but you would have to try it. There can be some glitches with intraday bars
Nice explanation! Couldn't download the shared link - 404 Page Not Found!
open them through the "Open Shared Item" tool,. Just clicking on the link won't work
Great job. Thanks

Still not working in TDA TOS. Please post both CS & TDA-compatible codes, not just the CS version. Thank you@@tradertalkswebcasts
