Hey guys, my Uncle Jim is dying in the hospital. I didn't know him very well, but I got to share the gospel with him yesterday. He's unable to speak anymore, so I don't know if he understood what I said, but please pray for his salvation

I’ve been procrastinating my work so hard and now I’m feeling super overwhelmed in my last couple weeks of school, if you’re reading this and wouldn’t mind praying for me I would really appreciate it thanks!
Haha! My friend, there are consequences to our actions. God’s not a genie that we tell to fix a problem that we have created… he is not a “wish granter”. The sad part is that some people actually turn away from God when he does not “grant” their wish. What God really wants is to have a close personal relationship with us. He wants to be part of our daily lives. He wants us to know that he is always with us, seeing what we see, feeling what we feel, hearing our thoughts. He is our heavenly father and wants us to talk to him, to tell him about our fears and frustrations, about our disappointments and sorrows, about our successes. And he wants us to ask him for help when we need it. He wants us to know that he loves us and values us tremendously and he wants us to love him back. He is our Heavenly Father, after all. He wants us to get to know him… and that is actually pretty easy. Jesus said “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father.” Read the book of John (or any of the other gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke) in the New Testament; it is all about Jesus and the gospel of salvation. But most of all, he wants us to understand and accept the gospel of salvation thru the tremendous sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Good luck in school my friend. Focus, work hard, don’t procrastinate, don’t stop until the job is done… Words to live by.
@@lucaslantz7404 it’s nice that you feel better but I can’t help but notice Jesus ignoring literally billions of people’s suffering just to come comfort your exam anxiety, seems like a waste of his talents to be honest.

People seem so confused about jesus dying. Its just a body, cursed flesh doesnt last, it dies. Thats what God meant when he said if adam and eve ate the fruit they would surely die. Spirit lives forever. The body is just a shell of the true self. It dies but the real person does not. Death in this world does not mean the end of existing. Life is not about this world. This world is about preparing for eternity.

The problem is how they're conceptualizing and defining infinite, omniscience, and omnipotent. There are several Apologetics videos that help clarify these.
I think God stepping into time and space as Jesus is actual proof Christianity is real not a contradiction or paradox. An infinite God, the Father, allowing his begotten Son to step into time and space as a finite human being. I agree an infinite God cannot step into a finite word but that why you must have a timeless begotten (finite) son. Any other religion that says an infinite God acts with a finite world is illogical and therefore incorrect. It's the perfect explanation of the Triune God.

Love the "categorical error" objection. @9:00 I would also say this Gentleman is making the "anthropomorphism" error. He says how can God - an infinite being- limit Himself to the finite nature of Christ's earthly ministry as the person of Jesus. As an infinite being (and omnipotent as he correctly states) what prevents Him from doing so? Does a human (limited) understanding and comprehension of the constraints imposed on the human construct of the study of mathematics limit Him? That sir, is anthropomorphism, ascribing human limitations to an infinite being.
@@bonnie43uk That's a good question. I think He certainly could, yet I don't think He would. At least not in the way I believe you're getting at. This brings up the question of if coerced/forced love is really love at all, or if a degree of free choice is required. Sort of the ethical question of a love potion. I think God demonstrates Himself to all sufficiently so that there is none with excuse.
@@WillSampson704 So, the Christian God demonstrates himself to every human being on the planet, yet most of the planet believe in other Gods?, why would anyone want to believe in another God if the Christian God is the one true God? How can a false God be more convincing to the majority of people on the planet? How does the Christian God demonstrate himself to a Hindu for example?
@@bonnie43uk I dont want to interupt your conversation. But to address your point, god gave every human free will to think and do what they please. False gods can be more appealing because they preach short-term gratification, things like doing more good deeds to outweigh your bad deeds to feel better about your life, christianity preaches salvation as a gift, compared to something that has to be earned. A way to think about it is that other religions think: I obey so I can be saved, while christianity is based on: I am saved, thus I obey. Pretty much like doing good things to be saved, instead of because they are good things. People want to do what is easy. As is everything in life good things are never easy, same with christianity. God shows himself to people who seek him out, because he gave people free will. He shows himself to those who choose to look. The way a hindu could find god is by seeking him out.
@bonnie43uk It is truly sad indeed that many people worship false gods. There are many self-professing "Christians" that fall victim to this too. All too often one's beliefs are not determined by the "convincingness" of the belief system and God's making Himself known to us, but instead by the convenience a belief system offers on our part. Many people, Christians, Muslims, and Hindus included, believe what they do simply because of societal norms, cultural identities, and personal convenience. Sadly, many people exchange the truth of God for lies that are convenient for themselves. Lies that allow them to continue to live according to their own desires and not God's calling. Christianity brings us to an often-uncomfortable realization of how short we have fallen of a completely Just, and Holy God, and how we could never become reconciled to Him in our own effort and strength (unlike all other belief systems which are essentially "works-righteousness" systems). Fortunately, God is rich in mercy and longsuffering in that He patiently endures much of our rebellion wishing that all will come to recognize their need for forgiveness, repudiate their old selfish desires, humble themselves in His presence, and turn to Him. Fortunately, when we do this, God is faithful to work in us to accomplish what we could not accomplish on our own. I would also like to add that I believe that all truth is God's truth. When we truly wrestle honestly to uncover the truth, this brings us closer to God and to the realization of the deity of Jesus Christ. Such as the representation of Jesus as Isa (the only sinless prophet in the Qu'ran). At the end, only God sees our hearts motivations. I do believe those who seek the truth honestly and humbly will come to a realization of Jesus Christ, there are many testimonies of this. One of my favorites is that of Dr. Nabeel Qureshi.

Hey idk if yall have people that run your account or if yall do but if it is one of you, i have a question. Is there any importance on Jesus being a carpenter? Why not a baker or shepard. Why did jesus decide to spend his time on earth shaping and crafting wood? Could it have something to do with knowing the wooden cross was his going to be his end? Was it to show beautiful useful things can be mad from the same material that was used for his death? Or is it just happenstance that Jesus became a carpenter and that itself doesnt hold meaning? I hest people preach and talk about Jesus but ive never really heard about why he chose to be a carpenter, and knowing Jesus theres a reason and a lesson
Great questions! In first-century Judea, carpentry (tekton in Greek) referred to a craftsman skilled in working with wood, stone, or metal. This trade was practical, humble, and accessible, allowing Jesus to relate to ordinary people. Jesus likely learned the trade from Joseph, His earthly father (Matthew 13:55). This reflects His willingness to embrace humanity fully, including participating in daily labor. As a carpenter, Jesus shaped raw materials into useful and beautiful creations. This parallels His divine role as the Creator who shapes lives and transforms brokenness into purpose (Colossians 1:16-17). The choice of carpentry may hold deeper symbolic meaning. Working with wood foreshadowed His sacrificial death on a wooden cross, transforming an instrument of shame into a symbol of redemption (Galatians 3:13). Carpentry: 1. Reflects humility and servanthood. Jesus worked with His hands and lived among common people, embodying the servant-leadership He preached (Mark 10:45). 2. Involves restoring and building. This mirrors Jesus’ mission to restore humanity to God and build His spiritual kingdom (2 Corinthians 5:17). 3. Creates structures meant to last. Jesus’ teachings and sacrifice laid the foundation for an eternal kingdom (Matthew 7:24-25). While Jesus wasn’t literally a baker or shepherd, He used these roles symbolically: - Bread of Life: Jesus describes Himself as the “bread of life” (John 6:35), nourishing souls. - Good Shepherd: He calls Himself the “Good Shepherd” (John 10:11), guiding and protecting His followers. However, carpentry emphasizes creation, transformation, and connection to His humanity in a tangible way. Nothing in Jesus’ life was accidental. His role as a carpenter aligns with His mission to build, restore, and prepare (John 14:2-3). The choice was likely deliberate, offering both practical preparation and spiritual lessons.
@@mlwilliams4407 Do you think it would have been a good idea if Jesus returned every 10 years so that every generation got to see him? Surely the positives outweigh the negatives, especially in terms of people who doubt Christianity.
@@bonnie43uk Fortunately became aware to doubt everything, which has naturally led to starting and growing an amazing genuine and healthy relationship with God and existence.
Cliffe, my question is different, you said in one of your interviews that you don't believe that Satan is our or Jesus' brother because he rebelled against God. Let me ask you if your brother rebelled to your father is he no longer your brother? Before Satan rebelled what or who was he? And also, he is a fallen angel right? so, before he fell what was he? Of course we don't like what satan wants us to do but that is my question.
Jesus Christ created an Angel who would become Satan, Sir! Jesus Christ is God and Satan was a created Being. So they are not brothers! Jesus is the Creator & Satan is a Creation!
God created the spiritual realm and all the spiritual beings (angels, cherubim, seraphim, etc.) prior to creating us. Lucifer was one of those very powerful spiritual beings. Dr. Michael Heiser (Bible scholar) has a PHD & 2 Masters degrees. He is an expert in ancient languages & religions. He taught the Bible at the collegiate level for over 10 years. Yes is everyone is saying if Satan was God's brother he would be equal with God does since he isn't in his created like all of us are created by God he is just one of God's angels
Here is another question In Exodus 20:5 NIV it says "You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me," This clearly states that God punish the children who had done nothing wrong for the sins of their parents. But then in Ezekiel 18:20 it says “The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son.” So which one is it do children inherit the sins of their parents or not? Just another contradiction in the bible for the collection. And before anyone says its taken out of context... Its not. Its litterally what it says and no matter what context you add to it these lines will remain the same.
I get the guy with glasses' thinking but how can the most powerful not limit his own power at times, just as we should with each other? Also our minds are infinite and are not limited nor can be measured at all, this is something we all obtain as humans, furthermore In Job we learn God is so incomprehensible to the Human mind that we cant just take our understanding and knowledge to then try and define or prove Gods existence anyway. Christ died because he was human and was one of us and this was necessary, however he rose again 3 days later showing that he is God and eternal, John 1:1-In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. and then in John 1:14 -the word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
The first person is speaking in circles and trying to use semantics to make a fool of his adversary. I definitely do not have the patience needed to find a conclusion.
The kid with the glasses. He's trying to limit God's power. As if he can't do whatever he wants. 🤣 He literally is the one that makes the laws of everything..
God crated physics, he can do whatever he wants… black holes deftly physics too. Don’t mean they don’t exist… so that means if God wanted to come to earth as a human why wouldn’t that be possible?
Wow. What a stark contrast. The 1st individual. Truly searching for truth. The 2nd guy? Talking for the sake of talking. 3rd dude sounding awfully JWish.
I have a question because there is something that is confusing me.. God cannot lie and will never lie (Titus 1:2) Leviticus 18:21 Amplified Bible (AMP) You shall not give any of your children to offer them [by fire as a sacrifice] to Molech [the god of the Ammonites], nor shall you profane the name of your God [by honoring idols as gods]. I am the LORD. So God never lies and is against human sacrifice but in Gen. 22 Verses 1 to 19 [1] After these things God tested Abraham, and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here am I." [2] He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Mori'ah, and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I shall tell you." So which one is it? Did God lie to Abraham about wanting a human sacrifice and thereby go against what it says in Titus 1:2 or did God want Abraham to sacrifice his which then would go against what Leviticus 18:21 So which one is true and which one is a lie??? and dont forget ONCE A LIAR ALWAYS A LIAR so the bible is full of LIES.
God stepped in before Abraham was going to kill his son and provided an animal sacrifice. He wanted to see if he truly trusted and loved God in obedience. God did not allow the human sacrifice and is not a liar.
Died on a cross for other's sins, resurrection and immaculate conception are all stories, despite some flimsy evidences. But thats okay. Even without any evidence, Christianity can flourish. But the questioner looks like a woke guy!!
The evidence may not be as “flimsy” as u think it is. Dr. Gary Habermas (PHD historian) has many videos (and books) on the historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus. They are very informative. He spent years researching data from both inside and outside of the Bible as well as looking at data & conclusions from other PHD historians. He is a university professor. He originally was an atheist but converted to Christianity after his research. Keener wrote a book called “Miracles Today” where he talks about the power of prayer: how people are being healed (and demons being cast out) by the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name. Christian missionaries all over the world witness (and take part in) these events daily. This is huge is India and Africa where villages have shamans as their spiritual leaders. Jesus was not, in fact, anointed King and did not actually become the messiah. Mark's Gospel, he said that he would return on the clouds with great power and glory, during the lifetimes of some to whom he spoke (Mark 13:26, 30).Etymology. In Jewish eschatology, the term Messiah refers specifically to a future Jewish king from the Davidic line, who is expected to save the Jewish nation and will be anointed with holy anointing oil and rule the Jewish people during the Messianic Age. The Messiah is often referred to as King Messiah.
Good news! The term Messiah (Hebrew Mashiach) means "anointed one" and refers to someone set apart by God for a specific role. In the New Testament, Jesus is repeatedly affirmed as the Messiah: - At His baptism, Jesus is anointed with the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17), signifying His divine appointment. - Jesus declares Himself the Messiah in Luke 4:18-21 by quoting Isaiah 61:1-2 and applying it to Himself. - His role as Messiah is not limited to being a political king; instead, it encompasses spiritual redemption (John 18:36). While Jesus did not establish an earthly throne during His first coming, He proclaimed a spiritual kingdom (Matthew 4:17). His kingship is affirmed in: - Matthew 21:5: Fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9 as the King entering Jerusalem. - Revelation 19:16: Jesus is called "King of kings and Lord of lords," referring to His ultimate rule. Mark 13:26, 30 discusses Jesus’ return with power and glory. To understand these verses: - Immediate Context: Verses 30-31 reference events like the destruction of the Jerusalem temple in 70 CE, which occurred within the lifetime of some of His listeners, fulfilling part of the prophecy. - Eschatological Context: Jesus’ return (parousia) on the clouds (Daniel 7:13) is a future event tied to the culmination of history. This is a dual prophecy...fulfilled partially in the destruction of Jerusalem and fully in His second coming. While many Jewish expectations of the Messiah in Jesus' time were political or militaristic, the Old Testament includes prophecies fulfilled by Jesus: - Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:1). - Suffering Servant: Isaiah 53 portrays a Messiah who suffers for humanity's sins, fulfilled in Jesus' crucifixion. - Resurrection: Psalm 16:10 and Hosea 6:2 anticipate a resurrection, fulfilled by Jesus (Acts 2:25-32). The Messianic Age is inaugurated by Jesus' first coming (Luke 17:20-21) and will be completed at His return (Revelation 21:3-4). While Jesus was not physically anointed with oil as a king, His anointing by the Holy Spirit surpasses ritual anointing: - Acts 10:38: "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power." - This spiritual anointing marks Him as the ultimate Messiah, fulfilling God's plan beyond human tradition. Jesus’ role as Messiah encompasses three key offices: 1. Prophet: Teaching God's truth. 2. Priest: Offering Himself as a sacrifice for sins. 3. King: Establishing a divine kingdom. Hope this helps.

@bonnie43uk
It is truly sad indeed that many people worship false gods.
So the second guy 9:29 saying infinite can’t be contained in the finite…bro doesn’t know math because there’s an infinite amount of values between 0 and 1
elaborate some more, i’m new to apologetics
@@kwameokyereboateng2797 basically what I’m saying is the guy at that timestamp said that it was mathematically impossible to hold infinity inside of a finite space, however it is commonly accepted that there are an infinite amount of numbers (.1,.11,.111…etc) between any 2 numbers, I just picked 0 and 1 because it’s the easiest. Between 0 and 1 is a finite amount, and in between those numbers are infinite many numbers therefore he is incorrect in saying that infinity cannot be contained in a finite space

Could God make his presence known to every single human being on the planet whereby it would be impossible to deny his existence?
Can God can say, "Hi" ?
Carpentry:
While Jesus wasn’t literally a baker or shepherd, He used these roles symbolically:
- Bread of Life: Jesus describes Himself as the “bread of life” (John 6:35), nourishing souls.

Could it be that Satan is a myth?

Here is another question
In Exodus 20:5 NIV it says "You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,"
This clearly states that God punish the children who had done nothing wrong for the sins of their parents.
But then in Ezekiel 18:20 it says “The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son.”
So which one is it do children inherit the sins of their parents or not?
Just another contradiction in the bible for the collection.
And before anyone says its taken out of context... Its not. Its litterally what it says and no matter what context you add to it these lines will remain the same.
Exodus 20:5 is for people who continued to worship idolatry

God cannot lie and will never lie (Titus 1:2)
Leviticus 18:21 Amplified Bible (AMP)
You shall not give any of your children to offer them [by fire as a sacrifice] to Molech [the god of the Ammonites], nor shall you profane the name of your God [by honoring idols as gods]. I am the LORD.
So God never lies and is against human sacrifice but in Gen. 22 Verses 1 to 19
[1] After these things God tested Abraham, and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here am I." [2] He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Mori'ah, and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
So which one is it?
Did God lie to Abraham about wanting a human sacrifice and thereby go against what it says in Titus 1:2 or did God want Abraham to sacrifice his which then would go against what Leviticus 18:21
So which one is true and which one is a lie??? and dont forget ONCE A LIAR ALWAYS A LIAR so the bible is full of LIES.
God stepped in before Abraham was going to kill his son and provided an animal sacrifice. He wanted to see if he truly trusted and loved God in obedience. God did not allow the human sacrifice and is not a liar.
@ which then means God lied about wanting Abraham to sacrifice his son. = God is a liar.
@rasmusdrongesen2721 he never sacrificed his son though. Do you comprehend?
God was testing Abraham he did not lie
He felt that the evidence for the resurrection being true far outweighed the data implying it was false. 1 hr 20 min.

Dr. Craig S. When someone who has been blind since birth is healed by a missionary using the power of the Holy Spirt, people in that village are extremely open to hearing about the gospel.
The book specifically documents medical miracles. It shows before and after images, along with medically documented spontaneous cures. There is rigorous documentation & affidavits written by medical professionals.
There are also tons of videos and testimonies out there about how people (many of them were atheists) that had a personal encounter with Jesus. Their lives were dramatically changed after that.
In the New Testament, Jesus is repeatedly affirmed as the Messiah:
- At His baptism, Jesus is anointed with the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17), signifying His divine appointment.
His kingship is affirmed in:
- Matthew 21:5: Fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9 as the King entering Jerusalem.
- Revelation 19:16: Jesus is called "King of kings and Lord of lords," referring to His ultimate rule.
Mark 13:26, 30 discusses Jesus’ return with power and glory. To understand these verses:
- Immediate Context: Verses 30-31 reference events like the destruction of the Jerusalem temple in 70 CE, which occurred within the lifetime of some of His listeners, fulfilling part of the prophecy.
- Eschatological Context: Jesus’ return (parousia) on the clouds (Daniel 7:13) is a future event tied to the culmination of history. This is a dual prophecy...fulfilled partially in the destruction of Jerusalem and fully in His second coming.
While many Jewish expectations of the Messiah in Jesus' time were political or militaristic, the Old Testament includes prophecies fulfilled by Jesus:
- Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:1).
While Jesus was not physically anointed with oil as a king, His anointing by the Holy Spirit surpasses ritual anointing:
- Acts 10:38: "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power."
- This spiritual anointing marks Him as the ultimate Messiah, fulfilling God's plan beyond human tradition.
Jesus’ role as Messiah encompasses three key offices:
1. Prophet: Teaching God's truth.
2. Priest: Offering Himself as a sacrifice for sins.
3. King: Establishing a divine kingdom.
Hope this helps.
I would say we are eternal beings, our bodies however are not setup for eternity, we need new bodies.
