It has to be the best ending ever cuz I have never felt like this before. if anyone is confused the town pictures in this video are from a town called kada in Wakayama. Tomogashima island itself is a deserted tourist island with no permanent population and no paved road

@@ldwanime Wow max respect to the voice actors, staffs, director and the original author of the anime/manga! They even advertised the anime with the anime poster on the wall of the shop in 1:20 in the actual island! Ep 25 just released several hours ago, so emotional video for us fans right now!

I visited this island (Tomogashima) to see the abandoned military forts covered with green and it reminded me of Laputa, the floating island in the Studio Ghibli's Castle in the Sky.
You can also enjoy hiking, BBQing, fishing, camping and stuff there.
Damn everywhere people refer to studio Ghibli castle in the sky movie, even something from the famous indie game little nightmares was inspired by it can't remember what tho (source wikipedia). I should really watch it soon
How are the people? Are they welcoming of tourists?
@@siu281 Tomogashima is an uninhabited island, so there are no permanent residents. Most visitors are tourists who come for a day trip to enjoy the island😉

Summertime Rendering location was based on 2 location. 1st, the inspiration for the island itself is from Tomogashi Island. Only open for visitation with no inhabitant. 2nd, the inspiration for the town was taken from Kada Town in Wakayama. Although Kada town is not an island but it is close to the beach.
