Let me tell you the backstory after the events of the first sonic game well Eggman was repairing his face he found a bird that has been burnt egg Man is curious on what it taste like so he takes a bite and then he got addicted so he probably changed metal sonic into furnace and then due to his diet of which is his skin and weird and he lost all his hair and now his teeth are revealed then he sends furnace to get sonic by challenging sonic to waste against him then Eggman came in to distract sonic so furnace can run into him the hot metal fastly going towards him in the duck killing sonic then Eggman decided he would only eat a piece of sonic the special occasion tails doesn’t know where his friends are so he decides to look for him and I guess another robot maid to cook animals like furnace stole one of his tails when tails finds Dr. Eggman he’s standing there next to A half eaten sonic I may be missing some parts and Bird isn’t actually called a bird so dr. Eggman captures mopey ends which are basically animals the ones that can talk and the ones that can’t and that’s mostly what I remember of the backstory (edit: oh so I guess dr. Eggman decided to take off his goggles for some reason?)
