I am FOR SURE a coaster enthusiast, and while I've only ridden like... less than 25 roller coasters, I Have ridden Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm and let me tell you............ WOW, IT IS PHENOMENAL! ( Great video by the way, I really love how deep you dig into all of the details on the ride, and I can probably agree to pretty much everything )
I LOVE Xcelorator! I was lucky enough to visit Knotts a couple days before the park closed. I got 4 back-to-back rides without leaving the station, with ending in a front row ride as the park hours were ending! Love it!
Such a good ride and highly underrated. Definitely prefer this to the other excelerator models, much better launch and airtime in every seat every time!
So, even when I was playing theme park tycoon 2 in ROBLOX when they added the hydraulic launch coaster, I bet that’s the reason I want to ride on Xcelerator with its forceful launch, airtime on the top hat, and the overbanked turns that I agreed that they’re similar to Millennium Force. And another thing, I just watched the entire video earlier today.
I personally wish that Xcelerator had a little bit more ride time on it. Personally, I feel robbed after the long wait. You just get going after that drop, then into the turns and then you hit the break run. I wish it had a slightly longer layout with a second air time hill or another set of turns. But overall your analysis is spot on.
The Buena Park Mall has a ton of lot space. Not sure why Knotts does not create a joint venture with them and create a City walk type area with parking structures and then open the current knotts parking lot for more rides.
The launch on this took my soul out of body and felt even more intense than Dragster. Felt like reached the top hat faster than I realized what happened
I went to Knotts on a Tuesday during a work week and went on it 5 times with barely station waits. I could have gone it many more times, but I wanted to ride everything else too.
Am I the only person that has a problem with the headrests? The holes in the back made me feel uncomfortable. Once I launched I didn’t notice it but it worried me the first time I rode it.
Great analysis but It does make me a little annoyed that we give this ride this much credit. Like why do we never talk about a park like six flags great America. Not only did the have the first B&M ever, but the first B&M invert so everyone should be thankful. Also, Xcelarator is a great ride but it does not even compare to Maxx Force
CrazyDash Yt only cuz of one train ops, but it doesn't even matter cuz it isn't more than a station wait for anything besides full throttle on weekdays. Knotts ops are just slow 5 min dispatches on everything. Xcelorator especially + it usually runs one train.
FFrenchy knotts isn’t my local park and I’ve only been there a handful of times and from what I have seen I haven’t had an issue with their operations. Also it doesn’t really make any sense for multiple trains on Xcelerator anyways since it’s such a short ride

I have rididin , rodden , ridded, Xcellerator at least 40 times and I still grey out after that first overbank. I love it!
Make sure you schedule 2 days because knotts has an amazing atmosphere that's hard to appreciate when you're rushing from credits to credit in one day

I’ve only been on one accelerator (Stealth at Thorpe Park) at my home park. It goes 0-80mph in 1.8 seconds, really powerful and fun

Better than magic mountain ngl. During the weekdays, every ride just runs one train except twisted colossus. And twisted colossus never duals
