Cartoon Network Japan is good like its a combination between Cartoons and Anime. it used to be really awesome, oh and also there was ed edd n eddy cosplay before cringe anime cosplays.
Maybe not necessarily an overall preference, but there’s a niche audience for anything. Anyway, American cartoons have a long history of being popular and influential in Japan. But generally, kids will watch any kind of cartoon regardless of their culture or ethnicity. It’s all the same to them. There are a number of Japanese comments here mentioning being nostalgic for this period of CN, so it seems there definitely is at least a portion of Japanese millennials who watched a lot of Cartoon Network when they were kids.
