What I like the most about it is the fact that he gives advice to the others and shares it with the other biathletes from different nations and doesn't keep it as a secret for himself..It once again shows the strength of Biathlon family!!
Well, I understand what you are trying to say, but: it is impossible to keep this secret, if everybody can see it :) The only thing you gotta do is to slow the video down to be able to watch and learn this. So there is no secret in it.
I love how he explodes away from the range. So many biathletes lose precious seconds coming away much more slowly than Lucas Hofer. Every second counts! And I love his sharing attitude.
This technique is called the "Heave-Hofer", obviously. However, the "another fast athlete" shown at 1:30 ff would be warned about unsafe range procedure for "panning" the firing line with the muzzle of his rifle in putting it on his back, based on what I have observed in biathlon meets and training. The rules are not explicit for transitioning from firing position to rifle-on-the-back, but for those limiting cases, specify "Rifles may be loaded and unloaded only with the barrel pointing in the direction of the targets or up (8.5.2 Loading and Unloading; 8.5.2.1 Safety Check after Shooting is similar); and "Rifles must be carried on the competitor’s back, with the barrel pointing up (7.1.2 Carrying Rifles)". I hope that the rules will be revised to explicitly state that the rifle barrel must point towards the targets or upward in a safe direction at all times except when the rifle has been verified to be unloaded, with the bolt open, and is inside an approved case. I don't like to look down the sights of any firearm from the muzzle end, and I don't know anyone who says the do!
You are so dumb my dear, he is nordic but it doesn't depend because he is from south tyrol, there are many ethnic italians that can look like him, Ronnie Quintarelli, Davide Biondini, Enrico Gasparotto for examples are all 100% ethnic italians, you are a troll or very ignorant

My version is Luk-up
that's nice😂👌
I heard the uk comentators speaking about it yesterday. They must have seen this video. I dont think they had noticed it before. Experts....
Such a humble and nice guy! Also, really cool that he acknowledges Björn Ferry to have the first variant of the swing at 4:52
The luki move. Hofer swing. At least something with his name in
I go with "Luki-motion" , and in my head, I'm hearing Aerosmith s Emotion playing, but its Luki-motion instead!
It looks like the "Luki Swing" to me #name4luki
And then Luki´s new nickname will be "The Swinger" :-D
For me is the backswing, just swing is too generic.... :D
I support Luki Swing! #name4luki
Please pay attention to how Pavlova (rus) make the same. It is really wonderful!!!
Luki 💙🇮🇹

TH-cam Algorithmus 2021
That guy cant be italian. There's not a chance tbh. His parents must be Finnish or something.
Ethnic German (my guess). He's from South Tyrol...

You are a bit offensive you know? Learn NOT to judge by looks accents religions etc.
@@vytautasvaicys8745 You'd be wrong, us Tyroleans are no germans.
@@Oachlkaas Does that make him Italian? I meant to say-germanic and german speaking, thank you so much for correcting me.
