Friday Night Funkin': Vs. Sonic.EXE is a mod directed by MarStarBro, Comgaming_Nz, and Averyavary under the ownership of RightBurstUltra. The main opponent of the mod is the titular character from the Sonic.EXE creepypasta , but it also features many other horror-oriented characters from other official and fan-made Sonic media, including Sonic (PC PORT), Sonic CD, Sunky.MPEG, Sonic R, and Sonic the Comic.
Friday Night Funkin' (often abbreviated to FNF) is an open-source[2] donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam.[3] The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron "Ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games.[4] The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s.
The game includes a roster generally comprising characters from external media on the Newgrounds site.
The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of characters in singing and rapping contests in order to date his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay revolves around mimicking the opponent's notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.[5][6]
The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam in October 2020.[7] A full version backed on Kickstarter titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game is under development.[8]

I like how, even between this chaos, the chart and characters are accurate: Majin just wanna have fun with BF, that's why he's not pushing harder than him, Xenophanes and Lord X wants to kill BF so they are teaming up, and plus they add Tails and Knuckles to their side, however, like in the original mod, Eggman has still some free will, and he teams up with BF to have at least a chance to defeat the exes, Sunky is helping BF because he's not exactly evil, and Fleetway, Tails doll and Sanic are constantly changing of team, those two surely loves chaos XD
Im sure that Sanic is in BF's side, but he sings into the other team just to have fun.

That’s a cool way of seeing it. I wish the icons at the bottom better reflected that, or at least kept the characters on BF’s side on his side.
