Just a fun fact for you both. I live in Phom Penh not Siem Reap, just as a disclaimer. A couple of days ago, I was at a bike shop here getting some work done on my Moto. There was a young local guy also getting work done. We got chatting as you do. He asked me " Do you follow any TH-camrs in Cambodia?" I said, " Yes, some ". His reply blew me away, he then said " Look at For Riel, they have the best news report once a week, real news, that I trust '. I then proceeded to show him my phone so he could see, I am a subcriber to your channel. Nice young bloke with great English. Just wanted to let you know, that even local people rely on your News Mottos, I know I do. ❤
That's so nice. I have been told that a few teachers play the News Moto as the captions pick up my voice well. I love finding out things about Cambodia and sharing them.
Hi. Thanks for another good video. Its so green and fresh everywhere, nice to see. I have seen the rural life in Chiang Mai and in Sisaket Thailand but never in Cambodia. Take care!
Thanks for sharing. Love these adventure rides discovering new location and interesting places 👍😊❤ btw what do you or Jeremy do when it's rainy outside? Workout at a gym or just chilling at coffee shop? Love the peaceful vibe in Siem Reap 👍❤🍰☕
Thanks so much 🙏 💓 Mostly it rains in the last afternoon so you just wait it out. For days it rains longer home editing or chilling out. But most tuktuk rides are only $1/2 around SR so the rain it's a problem.
Hi Jeremy & Claire 😊, such a fun video , one doesn't have to travel far in the kingdom to experience village life 🛵, love all the big dogs you captured along the roads 🤣, and what would life be without a furry welcoming 🐕, would have loved to see this on a sunny day 🌞, thanks for the fun get together the other night 🙏, it was so nice to finally meet Marc & Kinal 😊, looking forward to your next adventure , take care , have fun , Peace
Another great video Claire thank you. Not many Aussies or Poms live there. Don’t forget I will be in Siem Reap on Tuesday 1st of November, and I will be staying at the Angkor Panoramic Boutique Hotel that’s a mouthful. If you get the chance pop in and say hello. Pommie Joe.
Great video and more great information about the place around you I am planning to come there in November but I don’t know how long to stay for what kind of visa do I need and do I have to show a return to uk 🇬🇧 I want to come and try to get feel for the place do they have night life there restaurants I don’t ride a bike so I would prefer every thing around me if possible wait for your reply take care both of you 🌅🇬🇧
Sounds great! You don't need a return ticket ( you will be asked, but just say you are going there yo live). You can get a E type Visa (business Visa $35not the Tourist visa $30) Go to IPS and say For Riel sent you, they will help you with a property ( but remember to bargain 😉). Anything else is not a problem.
You always find such good roads to ride on. I always seem to end up on a potholed dirt track. Nice villages. The dogs look healthy, always a good sign. Not sure why Cambodians always turn the volume up to distortion levels. Cheers
Thank you for the ride. I enjoy seeing the villages and daily life. I really like the houses there. I, too, always want to see around the next bend. That pagoda and grounds are pretty awesome.
It would be fun if both of you do a wedding-crash and to see the reaction from the locals. I bet you, they will let you join the party. Great moto-news updates as always from For Riel. Enjoy your rides!
have you been to Trapang thmor yet? it locates in phnom srok district banteymeachey province it's a large lake or reservoir built by khmer rouge 1976 to 1978. you should go there .
Lovely .... looks like a great place to bicycle tour ( day trips ) . Flat and smooth . I'll keep my flash giant toughroad tourer and research the air costs ... if I retire there. Cheers Dwayne
Another fascinating video. I always wonder what village life is like. I wonder too how that disreputable looking pair tacked themselves onto your efforts! 🤣🤣
Thanks for sharing! I think a Sangkat when named "commune" in English is a municipality. Same as in "kommune" in Norway and Denmark and "kommun" in Swedish as it means municipality.
Part of adventure… however, during COVID shutdown, Siem Reap government was building roads and sidewalks with more infrastructure development into smaller villages…
Enjoying SR through your eyes.
Thanks, hopefully one day you can visit 😊
That's it!! I'm moving to Cambodia when I retire. Just 18 more years to go.
Make it happen now! Life is short so go for it!
Nice video thanks !
Glad you liked it!😇

From one Ox to another, a great video. I love the pace of rural life here and it's good to know the roads are improving.

There are a lot of roads with pot holes, but sometimes you get lucky. We don't understand why they have play it at the level either 😕
Hows❤our plans for sending school supplies coming along
Would be easier to send money or wait until you can come give it yourself. Or contact Wendy from Heartprint link ik description.
Krobei riel is my birthplace. Really glad to see a lot of changes there. Love your content 4៛

It is a great cycling location, and cycling is very popular with locals. Definitely bring your bike if you can!
❤😮😊🙂🤗🤔
😇😍🤩😘
I wish u would go down the side streets when going through s town to see if there are new home constructions
Some many dogs 🐶 down there
You never mention the heat😊
Haha it's just a given...
Another fascinating video. I always wonder what village life is like. I wonder too how that disreputable looking pair tacked themselves onto your efforts! 🤣🤣
Good question! They did have fun. Maybe a podcast is a option 🤔
Thanks for sharing! I think a Sangkat when named "commune" in English is a municipality. Same as in "kommune" in Norway and Denmark and "kommun" in Swedish as it means municipality.
Interesting! 🤔
Living in siem reip always walking in dirt or mud. That's shetty
Part of adventure… however, during COVID shutdown, Siem Reap government was building roads and sidewalks with more infrastructure development into smaller villages…
Add to the spice of life..
If you go down muddy roads yes. Not all of Cambodia is like this.....
Cool video again thanks very much,,,,
Glad you enjoyed it🥰😇
