oh my God this is what am thinking, A man maltreating you, cannot feed you from first child and stop when you had the second child is mind boggling these days. as many people will say its victim blaming but our African women have to be advised, educated, sensitized that having too many children these days is not right.

All these men, dad or fathers doesn’t know know anything. I remember when my dad burnt my cloths bcos I was closed to our land lady . D land lady took care of me may her soul rest in peace my dad ignored us bcos of his wife. Thanks ya Allahu I’m in abroad now my dad can’t do without me. There was a time my dad said to me that even him that wasn’t there for me I’m still taking care of him. People I really suffered. Alliamudullilahi I’m happy now comfortable with my ❤ly husband n my kids. My dad is regretting everything he did to us. He’s 82 now. Some of still taking care of him some doesn’t care . Actually, som ppl don't like 2 hv chiren with different different men. They lik 2hv kids with just one particular person, married or not. They want all their chiren 2b same mother, same father.
I am one of such persons. After I had my 1st child (girl), my X began acting up but I stayed put till I had anoda child (boy). It was 5yrs after I had my 2nd child I moved on.
He was dating my cousin who I brought 2live with us 2help his mother who had health issues and I decided 2 help out bcos I'm a medical doctor.
D same woman I helped, plus my younger cousin put heads 2geda 2 break my home. My cousin and my kids father started fcking....
After years of hiding it and ill treatment he eventually opened up about their affair and dat I shud leave him alone. I calmly moved out and focused on my career till my son was 5yrs old. Den I moved on. Remarried a year later.
So as u can c, not everyone is in a hurry 2hv kids left & right.
If I tell u som tins my X did, but I stayed, cos I wanted 2hv anoda child. No physical beating so I cud endure. If he was violent God knows I wouldn't hv stayed. But d abuse was emotional, verbal & psychological, but I still endured. Once I had my 2nd child, I planned, prepared myself, moved out & moved on.
