I really like how you're not trying to be a kali-yuga build or bust. I don''t think the deck needs kali yuga pst expansion but everybody look at me like I'm crazy if I mention it.
@@jaredricci9278 I'm suspecting that. But I can't find a non kali yuga build that makes me feel comfortable. I'm pretty sure ending with 2 towers should be enough for most decks
tbh, the only thing i don't recommend about this deck is the amount of hand traps. I got too many dead hands, while more RR monsters will guarantee my chance of pulling off a good combo and ways to play around the opp hand traps. and FTM, i really prefer the PK addition to this deck, which I can make a dark requiem xyz dragon with the D/D/D Kali Yuga for a totally broken board or strong dark rebellion monsters for OTK like the arc rebellion dragon. while pure RR is decent, but there are ways to lure you to use the rank up magic soon like feather duster or evenly matched. however, with kali yuga you won't be seeing your opp doing absolutely anything or setting any S/T cards. that's my thought on this deck, if you guys have better suggestion then i'm all ears, cuz i really love this deck.
It's suboptimal because you're not playing cards that get you into your towers. Kali yuga is winmoar, because if you're able to make it, you were already winning that game and it doesn't really make a big impact to reverse a game if you're losing. You're playing arc rebellion in either build anyway
The problem is that the Kali yuga engine also requires more engine and more bricks, its also not that great go 2nd, the pure version is way better go 2nd and can play more non-engine, what could make u brick but with less hand traps ur go 2nd game gets harder and harder if ur opponent can do what he wants. Also the Kali Yuga version is so much more vulnerable to so many cards, for example super poly destroys the kali yuga endboard while the pure version still got 2 towers + 1 Omni. Also fuzzy is too good to not be played
@@cxdryc not really, all I added was the PK engine which is only 4 cards in the main and 1 in the extra, excluding the dark rebellion, requiem and arc dragons. And furthermore, pulling Kali yuga onto the field is rather easy tbh either go gagaga or use requiem's negate to then summon the arsenal and rank up to Kali Yuga. So correct me if I'm terribly wrong, but I don't seem to have that case here. The reason why I don't prefer the pure RR was because the end board isn't really what I need to sustain the board from op floodgates like evenly matched. Or is it because I wanted to over kill. But nevertheless, I will try both variations again multiple times to figure out my play style. And I'm more than happy to listen to you guys'opinions more.
@@Thomas-tg9nl I also Played Kali yuga builds before and the pk Cards sadly are not the best draws, Except the Shadebrigandine. @@cxdryc oh man, I've been waiting for this. so here's the thing, you can combo as long as we have RUMs right? And unlucky for us they're extremely limited in the deck. The best we can do is recycling the newest RUM for the boss, and if that card gets banished then it's game over for us. I mean if we add more it would definitely be quite unnecessary, so I'm thinking about choosing 2 or 3 RUMs to add one more each.

In a casual setting, sure. In a competitive setting, it is not enough to push Raidraptors to be a Tier 2 deck. At best, this support would push skilled (in relation to Raidraptors) players to low Tier 2 or High Rogue. There's no chance that this deck can compete against the current Tier 1/2 decks in thr meta right now and even in the OCG, this deck sees very little play (if at all).
Yeaaaaaa idk bout this one chief, I played against every single meta deck so far, and I can tell you if you don’t have 3 imperms or 2 imperm and a Nib you Better pray ur opponent doesn’t have a extender cause if he does you lose no matter what. In terms of going second the deck can play through 3-4 interruptions with just the monsters itself, with cards like book that’s a whole another story plus the handtraps u will draw into also.😊
It's tier 1.5 or 2 it largely depends on how you play against the top 5 meta decks, with Fire King being the deck to beat. If it can best Fire King and still handle rogue options like Rikke, exosister and Floo, then it's in the tier 1.5 definitely
