Creaky Rider, I am taking great pleasure watching your Ural travels. You could say living vicariously back here in Canada as we store away our riding gear for a few months (5) while the weather drops into sub zero temperatures. I know many people say you can ride the Ural in the winter and in the snow but from - 10 to - 30 it's just not pleasant nor all that safe with cars sliding around and overtaking you. I'll wait for spring to take my GearUp back out so until then keep sharing your travels please. You could, if interested, share a bit about the technical add ons to your ride like cameras, GPS etc.
Thanks for the feedback , I can’t imagine it being that cold 🥶 , we are the opposite and I’ll be complaining about it being too hot soon , I don’t mind up to about 30 degrees but when it gets over 35 and up to 40, I hate it. Wearing all the gears , it’s not fun. I’ll add a segment on my cameras and gadgets next ride 👍🏻

Yeah , I was living in Somerset for a while back in the nineties, those country lanes are very narrow 😬
Congrats on the lockdown ending! Those were some nice roads you were on today!
Yeah , lockdown eased , we are still restricted , but in another couple of weeks they say we can go further 👍

What gear are you wearing??
I just have my old Draggin Jeans on and a Dri Rider jacket. I didnt have my wet weather gear with me 😆
Do you think fuel injection is worth $4k when looking at used urals?
I don’t have any experience with the Carbie versions , but the later fuel injection models are an improvement.
