That surface venture was rough. I got my ore down in the red zone. I have a bred Spino to keep me alive. I've got 5 charge nodes setup with 8 batts each, then I can just go around every so often and make a craft at each one (you get 3 ele per craft). Fifteen element per run. Charging 8 batteries doesn't fully deplete the node, so you can craft immediately after they are charged, as the station won't start charging them until it is fully charged itself, then the wait starts. But instead of waiting for one node to recharge to make all your element, you have multiple nodes ready to go. Don't forget to mark them with waypoints for easy locating. There are red gems in the green and blue zones: Green: 35.6/36.2 on a ledge Blue: 40/68.5(this one you showed), 33.7/74.6, 33.4/75.7 Press H to see what time it is and what cycle the surface is on. You may have to press and hold if you don't have it set to toggle.

What is going to happen next. by the way not sure if its new in Ascended as in Evolved I never ventured that far in ASE, but at the bottom of the Redzone past the Rock Drake nests there is a specific cave with Element ore nodes (I learnt about it from Teacher's game too video). I tried it but the way to it was not easy and took a lot of time even with a glider on but might be a small bit safer to get element ore from.
Surface is wayyyy easier just go up on 90 night, after 5:30 am reapers stop spawning and you can farm till 10-10:30 hassle free. Sun comes up shortly after 11 though so be back to safety by then. More specifically at exactly 11:08 for blue and green obb and 11:23 for red obb is when the surface lights on fire. As long as the day you’re on ends with either a 7,8,or 9 you’re safe till 11.
If the charge node is close to your base you can just leave the stuff in there and just craft it as you run by and hit it again when you come home from your adventures you did the grind now just takes time
You can charge 8 batteries and craft the element before it shuts down, If you charge more than 8 batteries it will shut down before you can craft the element
Thinking about the surface of Aberration scared me before… now that I have seen the numbers of Reapers it terrifies me 😅 And I don’t even feel to young to die 😂
The Reaper Queens drop the Reaper Pheromone Gland. The Alpha Surface Reaper King drops the legendary Alpha Reaper King Barb. Your Megalo was over half of its carry capacity, so it did not have the gland in its inventory.
until WC patches the surface reapers, you could possibly override the zone spawn settings for them and make them like half as many. Not sure how ASA does that, YMMV.
Yep it's just when you do 10 or more that it causes it to shutdown and restart. Seems doing just 8 then making element right away with those 8 can all be done within one shutdown
Thinking about it now, without the panic that was actually during the episode, it might have been smarter to go back to base, put everything away, and use the bed to teleport to the Zeppelin? I mean you can still do that in the game right? Honestly I didn't even think about it until after I finished the episode, so 😢😅
You can still travel by beds. Thing is, it is super far of a run back to base but..... it would have 100% saved the Shinehorn & Ravager doing it that way

I do all my off camera element farming on Manticore. Super easy boss fight with good element drop rates

I based up at the river. My first trip up I pulled 3 reapers into the tunnel and they followed me all the way to my base. They keep aggro for a while.

you use cs transfer tool to move tour items so use it to pick up gear in your bags with adv..transfer mode
Yes I am aware but that is too much like cheating as getting your bag back is the consequence for dying. It's the same reason I don't use a death mod

Part of dying is getting you stuff back. It's the same reason I don't use a death stone mod
@@BemoGuinness if you doing alpha you do have to go back to the 3 surface exit as you need the alpha king reaper parts and that is a fight and a half
