    Very nice to see these retired locos get a chance to stretch their wheels and speed along the line like they once did.

    How fast was the hall going with the mk1 rake? didn't look like 25mph, another reason for higher speeds when appropriate

      This railway has a higher speed limit since it has double track the majority of the line it was going at 40mph and the postal service can go at 60mph I believe

      @@Goodman_Saul incorrect by a long way. the railway is limited to 25mph with passenger stock in service, the same as any other heritage railway. our freight trains are limited to 20, and the TPO (when it was running) was limited to 40mph. when the railway is closed to passengers under testing circumstances, line speed is 75mph for diesel (or electric, if battery powered etc), and 60mph for steam. that Hall with the pax set in service clearly going over 25 is something you wont see happen again at the GC, unfortunately.
