It says BlackArt at the top Thats what black culture is....ART! I cannot and do not want to imagine a world without black music and culture Thank you for all the ART
Don't be ridiculous. Black culture has indeed created fine art especially music. BUT black mainstream culture is unfortunately also responsible for very destructive tendencies such as the Glorification of materialism, superficiality, misogyny, and especially gun violence. A culture in wich education is seen as "nerdy" and uncool while being a ruthless gangster is seen as the epitome of coolness. That's why I find it ridiculous to call all black culture art. There is certainly enough that is worthy of criticism about today's black mass culture.
@@hanshandkante5055 of course you are correct but there are negative aspects to every society and culture the ones you mentioned are glorified by the music industry and yes it's being a gangster or hoe is not something anyone should idolise yet the music industry promotes this ...if you actually know black ppl tho it's not as bad as they media makes out but that part of their culture still exists unfortunately but like all cultures bad comes with good
I actually know these two who made this song. It breaks my heart they don't get the recognition they deserve. Apparently, there was a whole bunch of crookedness with the record labels and alot or reggae artist didn't really get paid for their work. I try telling them to get their music on apple music. Really good dudes man.
OMG i had an old tape with this gorgeous track on it it, i played over and over for YEARS , never knowing who sung it, when i was burgled the tape was in my jewerly box so o ff coarse that went, it has such a riff that makes you yern for something ? on a loop i played this when i goit back from festis or clubs at 3 am in the morning on a head set to lull me into sleep, so glad i have found it at lastx
So many lovely memories to this tune. Pure magic. Wow, imagine being in the studio when this was being tracked! I can feel the heat from here in cold Babylon. Peace and love I-tinually ❤️💛💚
A pearl, with deep devotion, poly beats, uplifting and relaxing at the same time. Sweet vocals, and the guitar is both dynamic and open. Not many views here, but a true Rasta Gem. Thank you. May peace be in you!
Yes I will! Just see and clear my resistance and dilemma, and see WHY! See WHY!!! Please melt me!!! Please pull me through somehow!!!!! Push me harder!!! Don't you dare go away!!! Let me talk to you!!! You don't remember us? Push me harder!!!! Talk to me, see how you can get to me!!!! I know you can!!!!!!!

Timeless energy, I’m not a man of god, but this is as close as it gets for me
I still remember how taken i was by this song the first time i heard it and was thankful to find the record so I could play it out. Massive tune.

Yes Scratch was the greatest mix master, no one has ever close to the sublime sound he created 💯👌
