*TIP*- We can sustain without any sustain pedal method-
Tap on the assign button 5 times (cuz Release is on the 5th one) and then rotate the B knob to extreme right then u will get to see that the sustain feature is working... (Can be done in any keyboard who has knobs and Release option)...
Any chance of launching updated version of PSR - I 500 in the future soon in India on 2022? Please reply. Should I buy this one or PSR - E 473? I like PSR - E 473 because this is the latest model from Yamaha on 2022 and includes latest features but lacks Indian Instruments. So I am little bit disappointed too from PSR - E 473 and confused between these two models. Please guide me to take a good decision. Thanks. Your reply will be highly appreciated.
I was able to load the PSR I 500 onto the PSR E 463. Game changer. Let's see if Yamaha buys my software else I am publishing it for free.

I am confused between Yamaha PSR-E463 and I500. Seems e463 does not have any Indian tunes at all, while it has some features that i500 does not have. How much are these features important?

Nice demo! The name 'Riyaz' gives a wrong impression to newbies like me that it is only an accompaniment for classical singing practice, which is wrong! Actually it is a very versatile Indian style feature to play a lot of beautiful Indian songs. The feature name should have been 'Raga style button' or 'Tabla Tanpura styles'. Thanks again!
@Kiran Okay Casio surpassed themselves but your choice is also good. If you're taking Trinity exams, then only u'll be missing so many registrations and chord on base. Otherwise who creates tones if tones are already good? Tone creation is an art and tough, people charge for it, so having just a feature is not enough. Casio doesn't have a panel sustain. Casio styles are not as good as Yamaha. Casio menu is very tough. Yamaha is fun to play. But then again Casio has many good things too.

@Kiran Okay both 9000In and I500 have their own goodness, so if you don't have both, then only you'll have the best opinion, that too is per your requirements and choice, otherwise you will have doubts. One guy who commented on one of the Jeremy See's videos, has these two and also Roland Ex20. He preferred Yamaha I500 over both these two.
Sir my psr I500 keyboard voice sitar, pungi, nadaswaram, effets are not working. What changes are lam doing in functiongs.
its very sad to note that yamaha has removed the transpose and touch response on/off keys. Now, every time you want to enable or disable, you have to go into function menu. I feel psr-i425 still rocks in this regard, though memory bank on it is very limited

I thought it will be better than casio ctx 9000. Casio ctx is better in all way. It gives a natural grand piano sound. The only difference is of keys. Yamaha has better keys than casio. Nothing else.
Go for casio ctx 9000in if you are confused what to buy among them.

I sold out my Newly purchased Casio and got New i 500, due to poor rhythm quality and voice quality.... Mainly for the Accompany option.... Overall yamaha is best
