Very nice and useful. I'm an AGILE guy but have to revisit WF and this helped.

Very well explained! Now I understand clearly what WF is and what kind of projects this useful for

its useful for products that need to be reliable at the time of deployment

Is Waterfall summarized as: predict more, define more, deploy and hope for the best? Obviously you define recourse in the event error is detected...but to some degree there's an element of hope that you're going to be able to deploy successfully. I find this interesting, because in site reliability we say "Hope is not a strategy".

Sorry I’m nobody to say anything about both methodologies. I use TH-cam to learn different topics. My question is: When you talk about “Agile”, is it the same “Agile” that some companies apply to their non-technical teams like Sales Team, Finance Team and others?
    Thank You.

In my short experience some idea come in middle when doing project , client keep changing his mind in that period of development .
Is good idea client sign for each step

This may be a good representation of a plan-driven waterfall approach, but it completely misrepresents agile. Agile is flexible as the name suggests. It allows its developers creative freedom and eliminates excess bureaucratic bloat.
Look up the agile manifesto, it’s a short read.
Also, Amazon is run on agile and they are doing pretty well.

I like how the biggest problems of waterfall were just barely mentioned and the lesser ones were presented as strengths. Waterfall is not the worst thing ever, but it definitely is not what was presented here either.

Monzo is fully agile and it’s a banking software 🤷🏻‍♂️
Agile doesn’t mean less quality, it’s quite the opposite.
You release small features with automatised testing and most of the documentation is provided by the test cases.
Waterfall is like racism, it always comes back in different forms, it’s difficult to get rid of it because it’s built on lies and some experienced developer can actually deliver in it.
    Spacex uses agile too.

Mason Lewis Kerr Agile is like democracy, worst form of methodology except for all the others.
