Don't be worry much about drought in Thailand. We have 3 months of Summer, half year or more Rainy season and Winter. Songkran festival means "Change" from the end to the new beginning. Plants, flowers and living animals will begin their new life again in the rainy season. Thailand is not like other countries in Africa, having abundant water in rainy season. Whole water usage during this celebration is less than 20% compare with Industrial & Agriculture usage. Nobody of both sectors work cause it's Public Holiday !!

Why it is drought . My country Thailand has rain every weeks and flood by the rainny season almost in every year.
