Dogs can’t budge on principle. Let’s all clubs know they can be pushed around in negs. Brisbane are disrespecting Dunkley by playing silly buggers and not just getting him in after he’s stuck his neck out to request a trade to them

only once in the history of the game has a player gone into the pre-season draft and been picked up by a club he didn't nominate.
if he goes into the pre-season draft he still needs to agree to sign the contract, it does not work the same was as the national draft. i.e. he will get to go to Brisbane and doggies will get SFA for him.

@@tin-n-tan Good luck with that. Bombers and Port have more cap than Brisbane and both have been after him in the past. He was interested in both of these clubs and both have picks before the Lions. and, he just decided Brisbane was the better scenario, but things can change. If he can flip flop on interest so easily towards Brisbane, then he can do the same with a team in the pre season draft. If he goes to the Pre Season draft he must be at peace with clubs with cap can sign him. It's worth noting as well this is the best player to probably enter the pre-season draft by a mile. Most of these players who go into the preseason draft put massive contract numbers on them and they aren't even worth that sort of money (i.e Jack Martin) but Dunkley is worth the money and teams with more cap will offer him more money than Brisbane can offer, and probably a better role in the midfield being the main mid in most of these teams below Brisbane.
