Murphy played well. He has an eye for a good pass, and he has really evolved under Eddie Howe. Newcastle lads deserve a throphy as much as Forest and Bournemouth deserve to be at the top end of the premier league. Best season by far in terms of more teams being involve in the race for European football and even the Premier league title, refreshing to see.

A game where the stats dont make any sense, the stats say Arsenal were in control and unlucky, but when I watched it, NUFC had full control of the game, first half was 50/50 in game play, 2nd half we got the 2nd goal then went into game management,. Your away from home, your 2 up, you know there is another game to decide this, so it was perfect.

Ironically, it's Arteta who needed to learn how to make substitutions to close a game out with a narrow lead. Two banks of five. Arsenal have dropped 16 points from winning positions in the second half this season. 16 points! Arteta is either still trying to score or wasting time with the wrong on-field personnel and tactics.

Why when arteta loses is he the worst since slice bread lol and why cant arsenal go to st james's park and thump them for 3-4 its not unheard of we've seen them do it practically weekly..
The narrative spun by the media is he has to win something this season or its a failure - there in every competition and on the coat tail of liverpool with half the season to go? Every game youve got merson say if they dont win the leagues done - like we haven't seen slip ups in the business end of the season before..
And then its like THEY must sign a striker which is a fair point BUT who isak newcastle arent selling him.. kid at sporting whos doing amazing in portugal but fits the profile of players whove done amazing abroad but struggle in england.

It’s frustrating if only football was based on possession but it’s not & Arsenals ability to not be able to score has been highlighted more than once this season.. very function but too predictable & now without any real game changer. ⚽️ forget the 2nd leg this final has gone, Arsenal can buy a draw @ Newcastle let alone score 3 without reply to win! Well done to Newcastle they & their loyal fans deserve a shot @ a Trophy 🏆
