Kubota Clutch disasemble and diagnose

We split the tractor and found both the problem with the clutch and the PTO. A broken clutch lever and bad bearing on the power take off shaft. Should be easy to repair and the lever is available from the dealer. We should have it on Tuesday. The bearing should also be easy to get.

Looks like alot of work for a rather simple fault, as usual ....are you taking the box apart to clear out the remains, or you just praying that you caught everything ?

We don't have time to take it apart. There are two gears that have damage and need to be replaced. I think in the spring time I will split it again and do a better job.

I have a question 🙋‍♂️. Do you have to refill the clutch with trans hydraulic oil after you drain it? I drained mine, & I was wondering if the tractor refills it.

Yes. You should change the filter or filters(some models have one some have two) and add oil or better to change the oil. The clutch is a dry area. I believe the manual says to change oil and filters every 400 hours. Thanks for watching and commenting.

How did it start? the clutch was not disengaging ?

It could be started in neutral to warm it up then shut it of and start it in gear. The starter is strong enough to move it in low gear. Or tow it. Thanks for commenting and watching.

Es posible que tenga que ajustar el embrague y el eje en el que se encuentra el embrague está limpio. Sin óxido y un poco de aceite para que la placa de presión se mueva libremente. El eje de la TDF sale del contraeje; hay dos engranajes que engranan juntos, debe comprobarlo. Buena suerte

My PTO will not shut off.. I am it is not in the linkage. Wondering if it in that part on the inside.

It could be disconnected linkage or a broken shift fork. Can you hear anything moving inside the transmission? It's been a few years since I was in there. Check the Kubota website. Input your model number and you should be able to get exploded pictures of inside. Print and use to narrow the possible location. Good luck
