Love the Cath Kidston bags whenever they are in my local charity shops they are very expensive. I would just do an invisible running stitch on the inside of the dress down the button band but making sure the stitches don’t come to the outside. You always find lovely things.

To cover the plate chip, use nail varnish, try to get a matching green , I get the £1 shop nailvarnishes because they have got great colours , I've been using them when painting small wooden butterflies and fairy's for the fairy doors I've made , the colours are so vibrant, the rest of the haul is lovely 😊❤

Hi Kate, I’ve repaired/repainted the gilt on a couple of mirrors and used Rub ‘n Buff (from Amazon). It comes in a tube in a few different colours…probably European Gold might be about right. I’ve found if you unify the colour of the whole frame, often the chips etc then disappear. Sometimes a little wood filler then sanding can make a difference too. Hope that helps! 😃🧡💚🧡💚

Wood putty or modelling clay pushed onto the frame and try to copy the design before it sets, then paint over the top to disguise

Try & dry out the flowers, press them between grease proff paper and with a book on, you can pack cards, etc
