here's a great way to punish hackers, this can be done from the smallest private server to big hundreds of member servers. when you find a hacker, locate their respawn spot, or just go to world spawn then use a repeating command block with 20-100 or just 0 tick delay and set it to always active then write /kill (player name) so people can see the hacker constantly dying every time he respawns, low effort-non ban solutions
The only times I hack is: A. On anarchy servers or worlds where there allowed. B. Testing hacks out and having fun. C. Using NBTs on my own worlds to build things. And finally D. Trolling frienfs on worlds I just made. The client I use is Toolbox on android. Horion for PC is good too.

So what I say is to make a report and don't say anything about it, cause if they are legit and you insist on them hacking / bullying them they will cry themselves asleep for the fourth time that week.
SB737, Me personally, i do have a hack client whenever i play the java edition, but if i do every play on a multiplayer server that isn't a anarchy server, i will not use anything, like fly, speed, kill aura, none of that, at most i would use the free cam module, and free cam for anyone wondering, it's basically spectator mode, but without ur player actually moving, just ur camera, just don't be in free cam for to long when around a lot of players, and don't lie about being AFK if ur gonna do it, or if the server u r on, has admins on it, let one of them know that u have a client on in the backround, but will NOT every use anything that will give yourself a unfair advantage, that's personally what i do.
My friends always cheat in my minecraft world. I caught one of them hacking and flying around and he said it was ‘Lag’. Another time is when one of my friends said they were going to mine in a random direction, when they did they accidentally found lava and I said let’s mine over here in a different spot, they said ‘no I will keep mining here’ and then they found a 10 vein of diamonds. BRUH
once i was playing bedwars on a server not hypixel one of one of the opponents bed's got brocken and all of them died for a single player and it happened to my team and the other team the hacker got banned after the game ended

I would say hacking is only bad if your on a server that doesn't allow it, and yes, there is a sense of achievement from hacking if you are doing megaprojects like map arts and highways.
