Very interesting spread.. initially when you were explaining it, I thought the spread was vague but when you did the example it looked like it came together quite well!
"Questions we shouldn't ask?"! We really should tell all those not-so-wise men to stop bossing us around. And I think it's long overdue. Great video and keep up! Thanks.
I've just come across you, and I am a fan. Excellent video. I actually ordered that book based on another one I bought so I'm even more eager to get it. Thank you
Wow! I'm a Tarot newbie, and I've found the Celtic Cross quite overwhelming at the moment, but, this spread is so much more smoother and nicer to deal with. I'm going to purchase the book in the near future. Is the book written in a format for a much more experienced Tarot reader? Thank you so much for this video.
That's great Lourdes....yes there are so many other valuable spreads aside from the Celtic Cross. It has elements that aren't needed and too many disparate positions for my purposes. I never use it actually. I create almost all my own spreads which give them more meaning and power, I believe. Glad you think this alternate spread will work for you! Take care, Wray
Please provide me with more info in the position of "Expressing who you are card" which is horizontal. Do you read it upright, it on the reverse? How is it picked up? If part or all of this question is in the book, please let me know. I can't purchase it right now, but, it's on my list. Thank you. I appreciate you sharing this great video.
Hi Lourdes. It is horizontally laid across...showing the relationship to the first card and the second. However, I mostly read upright so I don't worry about it. If you are reading reversals, you have to watch which cards are picked reversed by the client (or which ones came up reversed) and remember if that one was reversed or not, because you are laying it horizontally for visual effect in the reading. Take care, Wray
Hello Wray, you mentionned that the 3 Wands is associated with 1st house/Aries. Where can I find the information about the other minor cards relating to the signs/houses? Thank you for letting me know and thank you for your wonderful video.
HI there! Great question...there is a very good book by Corrine Kenner called Tarot & Astrology and it has info on the Majors, Courts and Minors - with the astrological attributions and correspondences. I hope that helps! Wray
Hi there! Great question....yes, I turn them all at once in order to pick up on patterns of elements, numbers, overall meaning of the reading which you can only see if you are looking and scanning all the cards. I am also generally getting information as a "download", so I know what the main theme or meaning of the reading is within a few seconds...but only if I look at them all at once. I hope that helps explain why I do that. Take care and thank you for watching! Wray
Afterthought: Regarding the shuffling. Cards are shuffled and then cards are picked from the center of the deck? Can you shuffle for each individual card as you're laying out the spread? Sorry, I have many questions. Thank you.
HI Lourdes....shuffling and how to pick can be unique to the reader or client. I personally have them shuffle and lay all the cards out like an accordion and pick each spread position individually. You don't have to reshuffle in between picking. However, there are no rules with regard to that. Many readers have them shuffle and take the cards straight off the top...one position after another. I personally don't do that. It's something you can determine in terms of how you want to do it. Take care, Wray
Catherine Adams I got this deck cause I loved it the first time I saw it (actually in this channel). It's really positive and pagan. No christian references and really spiritual. Greetings!

@@TarotLiving Thank you Wray I'll make sure to check it out!
So, you turn and read the cards all at once, not one card at a time? Interesting. I've always liked Ms. Pollack's work . . .

Which deck is this one?
What deck were you using in this video?
HI Catherine...DruidCraft with the borders trimmed off. I have a video about that deck and the trimming. Take care, Wray
I really like it, and I will definitely check out that video! Thank you so much.
