Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation Euclid Class object, SCP-2954 Looping Kaiju Killing Animation.
SCP 2954 is two separate anomalies. SCP-2954-1A refers to six large pieces of weaponry resembling satellite dishes located on the boundaries of a deserted rural town in Japan that are capable of autonomously discharging electric arcs. SCP-2954-2 refers to creatures bearing a mix of reptilian, amphibious, and piscine traits. They are fifty to sixty meters tall, with a smooth, blue-gray dorsal coloration, and a red, pleated, armored underbelly; their back and forearms feature prominent spined fins.

7:05 For those that don't know, Tsuburaya is the name of a Japanese Special Effects Master who had over 250 movies to his name including many of the original Godzilla Films.
Yeah he died in 1970 maybe the writer of this SCP is implying that this could have been one of his movies but he never got to finished it and they didn't told whoever was Supplying them with the monsters to stop shipping?

All of the different references in this prove just how creative the SCP community can be.
I think the animators are responsible for putting most of the references in there. For example, the kaiju's head (especially at 2:36) seems to be based on Otachi from Pacific Rim, but the only details of what the kaiju looks like was (copy and pasted), "SCP-2954-2 refers to creatures bearing a mix of reptilian, amphibious, and piscine traits. They are fifty to sixty meters tall, with a smooth, blue-gray dorsal coloration, and a red, pleated, armored underbelly; their back and forearms feature prominent spined fins. SCP-2954-2 instances are bipedal, walking hunchbacked with their mouths always slightly opened."

The Satellites remind me of “Mazer Cannons”)if I remembered it correctly)which were weapons that could shoot out Mazer beams that the Japanese army would use in order to defeat or weaken Godzilla in the films and had a striking resemblance to satellites

That ending raises an interesting question: what WOULD happen if someone shouted "Cut!" (or the Japanese equivalent) during a Tsuburaya event?

Tsuburaya event, I love it man! Mr Tsuburaya helped create Godzilla, he’s also the creator of ultraman my childhood and still my favorite Tokusatsu series, this man is inspiring! I love this reference, the scp community is so creative, man!

Not exactly because in those two examples especially the first one, its not always one-sided fight and the other example hasn't really crowned a victor of any encounters since all engagements always end with the other SCP fleeing before they could be finished off. This one is literally a script being played out again and again meaning the outcome will always be the same.

I like this. For once it's not some horrifying world ending threat, some nice guy or innocent person suffering that the SCP Foundation acts cruel to or screws over, nightmare fuel incarnate. It's nice to see a cool SCP without some horrifyng side effect and is relatively safe so long as you keep a good distance, just a (literally) live movie scene.
All it takes is for those maser cannons to malfunction or be destroyed to go from "hehe funny whale gorilla" to "WE'RE GONNA NEED OXYGEN DESTROYERS!"

@@jonhdonnelytuazon4464 Mr Tsuburaya was one of the original creators of Godzilla, he is known as the father of Tokusatsu films & tv series, and the original Godzilla is a classic Tokusatsu film. Hes also the creator of ultraman, a very popular Tokusatsu giant hero battling kaiju series which has been going on for 55 years and is very popular in Asia.

The kaiju looks pretty much like Otachi from Pacific Rim tho. Its abilities of spitting a highly corrosive liquid are also similar to Otachi’s acid spitting.

Feel like the term fukaeru is a reference to something else too, but I can't seem to figure out what it us no matter how much I search.
Personally, I think the producer of the film contacted an anomalous entity or organization, maybe extradimensional in nature, that keeps supplying the Fukaeru. Since the producer hasn't answered back, the anomalous thing assumes production of the film is ongoing and so keeps sending more and more Fukaeru.
The anomaly might end if someone actually contacts the anomaly back and says they have all the footage they need.
Now Imagine if these kaiju weren’t being fought off by the satellites.

If I was Toho Studios I'd you ever did 1998 Godzilla a new updated nostalgic look for the Monsterverse, because if you realistically think about it if the original Japanese Godzilla was real the the end for mankind because that Kaiju is overpowered like Clark Kent Superman. To where as the 1998 Godzilla doesn't need to be overpowered just realistic multiplies asexual reproduction, basically what I'm saying is that the same old original formula of a fictional character being overpowered get tiresome.

I do apologize, despite me liking scps I forgets the names of some, but I wonder if the same phenomenon that affects this SCP is the one that affects the 33 second man. The one who manifests in New York for only 33 seconds before disappearing. Could there be an anti-memetic event going on as well?
Maybe it has to do with the magnetic poles and magnetic fields.....ok so here's my theory...you know how cd,vhs,records, film, etc. "hold" imagines and sounds....now in a verg simplied explanation it uses magnetic force to "hold" imagines and/or sound....so what if the magnetic poles and fields can be "transitioned" into a certain way to "hold" and "play" things.....like a cassette or film.
Edit: it would also explain why it only happens in certain area since polorid pictures only capture pics if they arn't exposed to light before hand....so due to certain atmospheric and enviromental and weather conditions is why it only happens in some places and not everywhere.....

While watching the video I first thought the Godzilla-like entity was fading in from another dimension, with the fight still taking place from wherever it came from but “out of sync” with our own so we can’t see it, and that the satellite dishes were set up by the Foundation as a means of other combating it or sending it back where it came from
Hearing about the notes, I still wondered if it was being sent by some interdimensional beings, but it probably could be from the SCP Foundation’s own universe, given other “similar” works
Either way, whoever made this SCP in real life is a very creative person, as are most of them

I’ve been trying to get approved to turn this into a tourist attraction using a front company in order to get more funding for the foundation. I know sounds crazy and a waste of resources but considering how popular kaiju films are in Japan it could make a lot of valuable income the foundation could make good use of for possible expansions and used for research on other scps. I can assure you this is mot for personal gain. I even made sure to trap Dr.Bright back in the amulet so he can’t screw this up.
