I missed your live since I still had kiddos here. I really love that background which was perfect for your tree. Thanks for the inspiration and Happy New Year! 🎊 🎉
Beautiful piece Anna! I especially love that background! I have a hack for you to keep the paint from bleeding under the edge of your tape line... I just dab on a little bit of varnish or glue (anything that dries transparent) and rub it along the edge of the tape line and let it dry. It seals the edge perfectly - no more paint bleeding under my tape! I have a video link I can send if you'd like. : ) Merry Xmas!
Thank you Nate, and merry Christmas! Yes, I realized too late that I should have painted over the edge (though varnish is a great idea too) before pouring. At least I was able to salvage it!
FANTASTIC!! Do you have a video of how you made the stencil? My brain could not visualize how you explained the process. :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Do you mean the cells in the background portion? Yes, when you have different brands of paint all swirling together they will often create cells. (Having thinner paint helps…using floetrol as your medium helps…) The metallic sea mist is a particularly reactive color as well.
Mr. Rogers music! I’m sold! So well done!
Thanks!
I'm obsessed with your seahorse!!
Aw thanks!
Anna to me it's the imperfections that make it perfect 🥰. Lovely
Thanks so much Betina!

@@AnnaBlountArt I second this request!
@@AnnaBlountArt I would love that too
Me too!
Yes please!!
I love it.
Thank you Ruby!
Awesome pour on a pour!! Scotch tape works better than painters tape for a secure boarder
What do you mean by scotch tape? Like regular invisible tape, or white masking tape?
so cool! so do the cells literally just come from the white paint and water mix?? My mind cannot comprehend haha

Prachtig , de moeite om dat ook een te proberen
Thank you!
